The problem is itβs taken him 4 appearances to actually get a touch π and yet despite that he does somehow look not terrible and I have hope. good summary π

Next job in football television rather than football coaching I suspect

Your balance and reason are not welcome here sir, take them and go

Agree, and he can be 3rd keeper for cup matches if we want to give Baz a rest, so he still gets first team experience.
-
Very funny to talk about other people forgetting things when you have the wrong player π

Who is more divisive - Puel or Martin? I remember the Puel thread running for months and months after he got the sack, will rusty beat his record??
-
Is this referring to our Ginger Bollocks? Did he do anything MJ like? They are very critical of both teams, but it is possible it was scrappy because we were equal in quality to each other. We will see if that shared quality is higher than most of the league pretty soon. I think Stoke may find the game against us a significant step up from the shite they have faced so far.

he is absolutely allergic to a forward pass.

This post really underlines my thinking.

right about now the DOGSO brother check it out now

Surprises me but Flynn looked like a really weak link. Absolutely allergic to a forward pass, almost every time he gets the ball he ends up just holding it until the opposition are all comfortably behind the ball and there's no space left. FUCK me that's a blatant handball

Aaron Ramsdale - Official: Loaned to Newcastle

Edit: whoopsie disregard i made an error -
I agree it was mostly grim, but if I am forcing myself to be optimistic, I would say that a few players are showing promise, and I don't think they've all been on the pitch together at once. If you pick Ramsdale, Downes (based on last champ season), Downs (based on one good touch at the end of the game) Quarshie, Bree (except for the penalty that should have been, I know I know), Shea (ok clutching but I have hope), it looks like it could be at least be not shit. probably time to stop having a broad look and start refining the matchday 11 for longer minutes (but wtf do I know about professional preseasons)

it's going to be absolutely maddening if, after a full preseason and seeing these performances with his own eyeballs, still decides Jack is the best option for first pick CB. I just can't help but wonder if he's picking him to make a full assessment of the club captain, and so there is no unrest when he doesn't pick him. He is terrible. Got involved in yet another snarky little incident in first half too. I find it very annoying that he picks these fights when he can't even concentrate on his own basic competence.

Spot on Gio, but for me the simplest and purest fact to highlight from your response is this: Jack... ain't that.
