Disappointing, although doubt he'd be like that in the places I've met him. I tell you who is an utter knob everytime I've seen him. Jamie Oliver. Arrogant tosser.
-
No ****ing way? Met him and Jimmy Carr a number of times and both are very nice people.

Haha, damn straight! -
Lol, didn't think so, but they've got a new album out as well I believe...
-
You talking to me?? If so they're playing Wembley Arena this year aren't they?
-
Would suggest buying 2 years old or so, especially if car has 5 year warranty. Removes the worst depreciation that you get from both new car and lease car deals and saves you a bundle of cash.
-
Always saw you more on the left.
-
Funnily enough, I completely agree. Would prefer a Tory led coalition as just can't trust the Labour money men.

Bit of angry music for me today... [video=youtube;L-iepu3EtyE]

Haha, maybe that's why. You grow up not liking the status quo, and in such a right wing area, somethings gotta give.

Interesting reading, especially from somewhere as credible as the ASI.

At Lou's request, no mention of Big Davey C next Tuesday. He makes her feel all funny inside I am led to believe... -
Seriously? Man, I had you all wrong
-
That's quite an extreme reaction to someone. Does it happen everytime you see him? I wouldn't say the Ed's make me gag. They do make me chortle though...

I have no idea where to start, but surely as soon as an industry is privatised it isn't off limits to re-nationalise? The country was doing well, we had low unemployment, people were spending money, surely it would have been the correct step to make for Labour? Instead, they just sold off the rest. Ho-hum.
-
In relation to the 'balancing'?
-
You get my point though? Labour could easily have re-nationalised those indutries, they had 13 years in power in the end, but they chose not to.
-
It depends what you call a 'Tory'. I would say my political leaning is to the right, but that doesn't make me a Conservative, it just means I favour capitalism etc.
-
Cherished institutions, like Northern Rock, Lloyds, HS1 etc? As you say, if Labour had any gumption to actually follow their ethics, they'd have re-nationalised the railways and airports. At least the Conservatives have the guts to stick to what they believe, which is something Labour obviously don't.
-
I agree the new benefits cuts will be too harsh, which is something I don't agree with (and why I won't be voting Conservative - or anyone for that matter). However, I hate the thought of us going back into recession due to Labour getting back in. Much better is to get someone to 'balance out' the Tories cuts through coalition.
-
What a bizarre response, there was no malice etc in that post, just a simple question. Anyway, I didn't realise you worked, I apologise. I'll let you get on with it, those leaflets won't hand themselves out.
-
I'm just taking this from another Labour supporter, earlier in the thread. Not sure how good his data is. Have all those been sold then?
-
'Our only hope'?? As you say, you can't trust Labour, the SNP shouldn't be allowed to vote on English policies, and the Lib Dems are everyones patsy. How the hell is THAT our only hope? And only hope of what? Taking us back into recession? Increasing benefits? What is the 'only hope' in relation to?
-
That's fine, and I think PR is a good idea. However, how do the MP's get split out around the constiuencies?
