  1. Bilboa used to play direct to Llorente, it was the main difference between their's and Barca's styles, and the fact they used to play a more mixed route to the box (crossing from deep etc).
  2. That's cos we're not. We're playing a similar style of play to Bielsa's Bilbao side.
  3. Not particularly, where we tend to pick the ball up pace isn't necessarily the attribute we need to get the ball in the box.
  4. Agree with this. For Osvaldo see Edmundo, Stoichkov et al. Old fashioned, talented, eccentric wtf type player.
  5. Shane Long hahaha, wtf? West Brom think he's ****, as do their fans. Why the hell would we want a player who only plays well once in every 15-20 games? Also, Danny Ings? Agree with Ince, Astori still not convinced.
  6. We don't get them for our daughter, which is annoying, but I suppose that's for the greater good of the country.
  7. Mike Wlliamson count?
  8. There is a very good reason why West Brom want rid (club and fans). He has a run of about 4 good games every 30. He's definitely not what we need.
  9. He doesn't watch Saints, he doesn't go to games. You could never guess could you?
  10. I prefer 'a stopped clock is correct twice a day'.
  11. Fiorentina want Lallana...
  12. Or perhaps his English is good enough to not need them anymore?
  13. F*** me, just by paying 10% extra a month (we have to do it in a yearly lump sum unfortunately), we will save £50k in interest alone. That, my friends, is mental.
  14. Be a shame if it did happen. That site can be hit and miss, but has been correct before and in relation to Pochettino. Just have to wait and see.
  15. This. Glad to hear he is now comfortable to come out, but he would have helped more if he'd done it whilst still playing.
  16. I haven't seen this yet, but I wonder if it is similar to the program 'Skint' - another Channel 4 program that was on earlier this year. In that they showed the underclass in S****horpe I believe, and their struggle to get jobs etc. It was a decent program, showing a wide range of scenario's (large families, young couples, drug addicts, single mums etc). Half the people were utter scum, whether nature or nurture, and the other half wanted to work themselves out of trouble. One thing I did notice in that program was that those who tried to get jobs, did. Yes it is a small sample size, but in a country where the underclass is growing it is difficult not to generalise and believe this is a common situation on our 'estates'.
  17. London is a fantastic place to live - especially if you have money. Although I like Liverpool, there is no way I would live there ahead of London.
  18. Yoshida is on his way out as part of the move to bring another CB in. We only need 4 CB's, and he is the most saleable of those outside of Lovren.
  19. But, do you remember when we used to just bring in back up players and rely on the dross to pull us out of trouble? 2004-2005 especially? Jacobsen, Neilson, Davenport, Barnard etc...
  20. That's a long article just to say we need to turn around our form...not quite sure what the point of it is. Article is pretty poorly written as well, and is very boring. But apart from that, an interesting read.
  21. Forte double vs MK Dons.
  22. I really enjoyed the squarehead competition on Twitter myself...
  23. It's just my opinion, but this is the 2nd job he's really excelled in. Seems overly aggressive on your part...
  24. Exactly this. And considering that GS has continuously derided Pochettino for not being able to manage through an injury crisis, I'm surprised he's using that as an excuse for Nige. Nige is a good League 1 and Championship manager, but is no better imho than Warnock, McDermott, Poyet or McCarthy, and they have all pretty much failed at Premiership level (Poyet- the jury is out). West Brom should be after Dyche if they want an excellent manager to deal with small resources.
  25. This is embarrassing frankly. It's our way of doing a Fergie and trying to put pressure on referees due to the poor decisions we've been getting. Got nothing to do wwith what has aactually been said, and makes us seem pathetic.
