  1. I'm assuming as long as it's democratic, yes.
  2. What, yesterday? Surprised we didn't at least hear something about that.
  3. Mental illness is a horrendous thing, and with the precipitous drop from being lauded as a Premier League Keeper and England International, to not even being wanted on loan by Championship teams could be catastrophic for ones mental wellbeing. With male suicide being the biggest killer of men under 50, it's something that needs far more recognition, funding and support, especially in a game where people with mental illness could be looked at and criticised as weak. Best of luck Fraser, and fingers crossed you're getting better.
  4. Only if we're suffering cash flow or FFP issues, rather than balance sheet. I would say a guaranteed transfer (and a loan fee) would work.
  5. Fair enough - we'll agree to disagree then.
  6. https://www.thedailymash.co.uk/news/work/government-stages-rehearsal-for-losing-your-job-after-brexit-20190108181086 THOUSANDS of Britons have pretended to lose their job so they will be prepared for it really happening once we leave the EU. The latest emergency planning means that when Brexit damages the economy, workers will be able to slide into unemployment quickly and efficiently. Forklift driver Roy Hobbs said: “It went really well. I feel much more confident now about having a traumatic conversation with my boss as he lays me off and I try not to shout. “When I’m made redundant for real I’ll know exactly which channels have the least bad daytime TV and the best recruitment websites for **** service sector jobs.” Beauty salon owner Donna Sheridan said: “I even tried a patronising ‘back to work’ scheme where you’re told to wash your hair before job interviews. “For a Leave voter like me it was a great chance to practise shifting the blame. I’m going to whine about how everything would have been fine with a ‘proper Brexiter’ in charge.”
  7. Not know them personally. I don't know Boris Johnson personally, but I wouldn't wish him dead as I know things about him. I know nothing about Wes Tender - not a jot. It's wishing death on a non-entity on a forum. And I'm extremely calm - I had a nice cuddle in bed with the kids this morning, a decent commute into work and have quite an easy day today. I'm pretty calm thanks. Anyway, back on topic. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-46789565
  8. https://www.historylearningsite.co.uk/nazi-germany/the-march-1933-election/ Mess
  9. I'm not wishing him dead because he voted the other way. I did it because he's a racist. And even then, it's Wes Tender - it's not the actual person. How can I wish someone dead that I don't know anything about? I would hope that his opinions away from the forum are less forceful and pronounced than they are on here - otherwise surely the threats of violence towards Shurlock, the support of violence if Brexit was stopped and his unpalatable view on Arabs are more of a worry.
  10. Haven't seen that one for a whole tbf.
  11. In other news - there is an election coming. Tories are starting to leaflet safe seats...
  12. I bet they were saying that when Hitler was voted in as well - because a democratic election can never cause too much harm is that?
  13. Ouch - a kid called Jeff. Now that is verging on child abuse. It's a **** enough name for an adult, but for a child..? Does it wrangle you that a child clearly has a better understanding of economics than you have?
  14. Stop being so melodramatic.
  15. ****ing hell, what a bunch of snowflakes. I'm wishing ill on a username - a faceless entity that has written unsavory posts on a forum. I don't know him. I don't know his kids. I don't know his grandkids. I don't know his name or where he lives. I don't know what he does for a job. This is like the over-reaction the other day when I said his wife must have sucked off a foreign gardener. Take a step back and calm the **** down ladies.
  16. Just watched that there Bird Box. If you watch the first 15 minutes of that, I think it mirrors what might happen post Brexit.
  17. How about racists?
  18. As I've said previously, as far as I'm concerned people like Wes are spoiling mine and other children's lives. For that I cannot and will not forgive them. Add to that that he's admitted he's a ****ing racist and to me that means he's an oxygen thief.
  19. Couldn't give a **** what a ****ing racist like you thinks.
  20. Fingers crossed at his age it will be 1,000,001 pretty soon. Could do without another ****ing racist in this country.
  21. I'm willing to wait and see.
  22. You're right, I'm not old, so yes I don't know what it was like before. But that doesn't mean that's what it's going to be like after we leave. In fact the reality will be chalk to that cheese because it was 40 ****ing years ago. No need to show off about being well travelled as well, most of us are these days, luckily. And thank **** when I go on holiday, certainly within Europe, I can enjoy the multiple benefits given to me as a member of the EU.
  23. As a trading bloc they don't have a single currency. We are in that trading bloc, and our currency is different.
