I really can't see how any Saints fan can be anything but encouraged by this interview. I like the fact that he was impressed with the way Mopo deals with those around him. I am not so sure he would have been impressed with the Don. No clearly set goals? If Ralph had come out all guns blazing with "Champions League in the next 3 years" it would have been ridiculed endlessly on this forum. Personally, I am not looking for such statements of intent. The club was loved before Ralph and it will be loved when he is gone. As long as he improves us as a club whilst he is here, then he is most welcome. If I was to hazard a guess as to the type of man he is from just this interview, I would say he comes across as a thoroughly decent, intelligent human being. Whereas the previous CEO only just came across as a human being. Onwards and upwards.
