Nah thanks mate I'll stick my head in the sand and thank Jesus everyday that we even have a club We almost died 7 years ago
-
Markus "legacy" vs a women that inherited a business
-
So we are here to milk some cash for the owners and trial players for the "big boys" We should be happy just to be in the big league with the big boys - look where we were 7 years ago ffs It's that acceptance from the fans that allows this bullshît to continue
-
Different day but same **** from our "ambitious" club Just hope Reed kept the receipt for that trophy cabinet he purchased
-
I agree it's too bad that all the people who know about football are busy driving taxicabs and cutting hair
-
Please come and sign me pitch? Hojbjerg hails Liverpool as 'the best team I have ever played against' http://dailym.ai/2g6Y5pL

These super complicated football hierarchies will be really really hard for some to understand and comprehend so don't feel bad - but 99.99% of football fans/people will grasp it, so if you have questions just ask mate

Imho we are now closer to AFCB than we are to Man C, Chelsea and Liverpool AFCB are unlikely to win our league, while we should expect to - but they are still in "our" league
-
Imho we won't finish top 6 again for a while - in fact I'd fancy Newcastle to finish top 6 in the premier league before us and they are not even in the premier league Win "our" league that's the best we can hope for And I agree with a few others - if (if) we have a good run in Europe I'd take finishing 2nd or 3rd in "our" league this season
-
For now it's about acceptance I guess, for me at least I have desperately wanted us to break the top 5 (taste the champions league etc) but realistically it's not our league and I can be fairer to the team and manager by breaking it down like this If we can win our league (finish 7th overall) I think we've done brilliant
-
Burnley and Middlesbrough are duffs - I've used the colours to define Watford and Bournemouth are borderline but invested sensibly during the summer
-
Having a good look at the league table earlier and its interesting how quickly its taken shape this season. I have spoken a lot about football hierarchies and levels and spoken about the 3 leagues within the premier league. For me the Top 6 are on another level now - over the summer they have invested and have appointed the best managers. Yesterday proved we are definitely NOT a top 6 side Then you have the middle pack - includes us & Finally the also-rans the duffs in the pack that will try to avoid finishing bottom 3 Key for us is to win "our" league and if we do we finish 7th Current table + levels Liverpool Manchester City Chelsea Arsenal Tottenham Manchester Utd ________________________ Everton Watford Bournemouth Southampton Burnley West Brom Stoke Leicester Middlesbrough Crystal Palace West Ham _______________________ Hull Sunderland Swansea

How did we do against Sunderland, Hull and Watford? Incidentally Pierre played some part in Sunderland and Watford games but we can't and won't blame him for the Hull performance as he spent 90 minutes on the bench
-
And that performance against Newcastle or was it Aston Villa
-
lol I like it
-
In Koemans situation you wouldn't have moved? More money More ambition from club and owners Bigger club Longer contract Forget your Saints loyalties for one minute and be honest
-
Completely agree with the continuity aspect and yes if you look at our best players last season and even this they are regulars and not part of a rotation Would you stick with Pierre just now over a prolonged run for JWP though?
-
You do you, I'll do me I'll keep posting about Saints and you keep posting about me and other posters Your thoughts on Pierre so far? Be great to hear something Saints related from you
-
Negative? It's a question mate Play the post not the poster?
-
Sounds like the new Ramirez?
-
Started the season so well and won the player of the month award but seems to have been downhill ever since? Poor game again today imo and just wandering if he's better than we had in JWP and Reed/Davis? Young guy and "guaranteed to improve" etc but not been overly impressed so far Thoughts on him?
-
WHU blew it again! They really have had a shocking season so far and the manager chop must be pending Scary after 87 minutes I looked at the live league and they were level with us.... really is very close at the bottom
-
Tell us more? Can't see why but hey I'm all ears
-
Guy left for more money and for more ambitious owners Hate him all you like, we'd ALL do same thing in his situation
