Ok so let's summarise Tennis is easy Football is more physical than rugby apparently VVD can play twice a week he's "different" our team is full of softies John Terry played ever game (every minute) in 14/2015 season he's also "different" but aged 35 we need to make 7 changes each game - nobody is sure why snooker is exhausting for CB Fry our players are dragged, pushed and pulled every game but other team players aren't we have serious fitness issues at the club and players need to be wrapped in cotton wool

One in... One out - Why is that an issue?

You seem to think our only source of income comes from player sales You also think Cortese was taking out loans in secret without Markus or Kats knowledge FYI we now receive £120-150 million a year from TV money alone, commercial income is up and gate receipts are higher than ever http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?56928-Where-is-all-the-money-going#.WDk8O4bfWaM -

Next set of accounts will show how wide her smile is...... Until then you nor I know the full facts and can only speculate on a football forum We are the only side selling players in volume each summer - either Kat is topping up her inheritance or we are being mismanaged elsewhere When the accounts are out you can come back with an "I told you so" if you wish, personally you don't seem they type to me -

Hey listen I appreciate the response and a decent response at that. I don't know the full details of the loan you refer to but I do agree that the next set of accounts will be an interesting read. I would happily bet good money that Cortese wasn't acting as a maverick and was working on behalf of Markus or Kat. Chances are Cortese was working for Markus or his wishes - Kat simply had other plans for us and acted swiftly. With the increased TV money I'd argue that a loan could be repaid without selling the family silver over n over but hey she is the boss huh. Next set of accounts will reveal more I guess - must be out soon? -
Leicester have just walked there champions league group and spurs have not lost a league game all season Not to shabby? If you're still not convinced I'll raise you Man City and Arsenal - they average 2/3 changes per champions league game. Also still to understand why superman Andy Murray can play 100+ tennis matches and fly around the globe almost non stop but our little princesses are built for 25-30 games per season Let's not even consider that the ball is only actually in play 60 mins (average) per game, so we are talking about 30 hours work a year!?!
-
Leicesters "black box" must include a 'recovery' filter as they seem to manage In fact most clubs and players seem to manage We seem to be the only club that needs to make 5-7 changes each game, but I'm sure you're right I'm just stupid and don't understand football VVD plays most games but he's "just different" It's so hard to keep up

Assuming we have a transfer budget each summer like all premier league sides we are something like £110m up on transfers last 3 seasons alone It's reasonable with TV money and income as it is now that we could spend £15-20m each summer (just like other heavy weights Boro and AFCB) without selling any players So 2014 we made a transfer profit of £30m + saved our £20m transfer budget. Up £50m 2015 we had a net spend of -£2m so up £18m 2016 we had a net spend of +£20m so up £40m No doubt we will flog VVD this summer, maybe Bertrand too and spend 50-70% of what we receive Meanwhile the poor trophy cabinet will sit empty but the bank balance and Kats smile will get fatter -
Same 3 types exist on here But we are all friends / family that just have different levels of expectation, patience and ambition

Hi Nick, yes I did play football. Played for Christchurch for 8 seasons and would play 40+ games a season including friendlies and cup games I was not a full time athlete but would happily and willingly play 3 games a week, some times on bog pitches not the lush and flat surfaces professionals would be used to. I think you are seriously underestimating the teams fitness if you genuinely think these guys can't play 50 competitive games a year. Andy Murray plays over 100 competitive matches of tennis a year - these tennis matches average 2+ hours each and he does far more travel than our lads
-
The next 4 games will make or break Puel Needs 3 wins from the next 4 minimum No more pîssing about with squad rotation please Mr Tinkerman
-
You seriously seriously think professional footballers (athletes) can't play 3-4 games over a 2 week period? How pathetic do you think these guys are? We are not talking about a marathon or 2 everyday for a year - we are talking about 90 minutes of football 3-4 times in a fortnight

V.poor again tonight Our 3 "BIG" summer signings (Bofal, Redmond, and Pierre) cost us £45 million

Fuch sake! Not seeing the same Long this season at all Was superb under Koeman
-
He seems determined to stick with Redmond and play him as a striker Redmond for all his qualities is not a striker and his career goal scoring record reflects this (1 goal in 11) 2 in the last 17 for us now He needs to give Long and Austin a decent run the in side, let them build a partnership
-
Leicester have been making 1 change for champions league games Even spurs with a talented large squad have been limiting changes to 2-3 We make 7 for tonight!! VVD and Forster need a settled back 4 - it was chaos tonight
