  1. Fair play (not that *I* particularly cared (at all, in fact )...but people were calling you out on it on multiple threads, so it was a suggestion to put it to bed.
  2. I haven't assumed anything.
  3. https://www.theguardian.com/football/2016/aug/20/manchester-united-jose-mourinho-southampton-jose-fonte Worth noting that one of the opening lines of the article is complete tosh, I.e. Fonte is contracted until 2018, not 2017.
  4. Take a picture of your ticket
  5. Because we probably don't have all that cash. Cash flow is an entirely different issue to accounting profits (which is what I believe you're referencing).
  6. As above, I'm not sure the system suits either, and I'm beginning to think a manager should adapt his tactics to suit the players at his disposal, rather than vice versa. That or buy players he deems suitable. P.S Davis can't play CM. I used to say it when it there was two CMs, and I used to say that perhaps he'd be better suited to a 3 CM system....nope.
  7. Game does look dead. Shame about the pen.
  8. Yeah, much better angle, thanks. Looks like Clasie does catch Shaw's right.
  9. Ah, okay, so it's the first couple of seconds of the clip we're looking at. Still think I'll need to wait for a close-up though.
  10. That replay makes it looks like he completely misses him with his arm :S Have to wait for a clearer angle later.
  11. I can't see it either :S He (Shaw) definitely clips his own feet, but there must be something, because Clasie looked guilty. Still, :S
  12. Players are able to pass the ball past other players, that happens.
  13. Targett was completely faultless for their goal.
  14. Pragmatic knowledgeable elite
  15. Embellsihment of the highest order then(?), given that Lungs said he signed it around the first of this month.
  16. I've never bought into this "deserves a big move" logic, as though we/the club owe it to the players to not stand in their way. Screw that, if you want a 'big' move someday, have a little foresight an insert a release clause. We've committed to paying Fonte until 2018 regardless of performance, and he's committed to playing for us until 2018...that should be the end of it unless a mutually beneficial deal arises. I am slightly sick of player power (or the (potential) caving in to it).
  17. It's also entirely plausible.
  18. It seemingly is for the most passive-aggressive poster here. As for Fonte, I think it's a no brainer not to sell him so deep into the window. Frankly, I'd put a time limit on this supposed new contract offer too. He can't have the best of both worlds, waiting for a bid to materialise from United, and having the fallback of a bumper contract with us. He either signs within a reasonable period of time, committing himself, or it gets retracted and he's forced to stay until next summer at the earliest.
  19. F*cking ridiculous. I hope this is picked up by mainstream media/Charlton get a PR pasting.
  20. Exactly, Errusu (or Essruu as he used to be known ) confirmed which player yesterday at 8.39am (in response to comments made about Fonte/Cedric/player contracts mentioned by Adam Leitch a week ago).
  21. *ahem* In conclusion, thanks for the heads up, Essruu (and Turkish). As for Tadic himself, good stuff, needed doing, what with the Schalke rumours. Arguably our most creative player, and could quite possibly hit 10 league goals this year.
  22. Where did he glean that from? This forum?
  23. Come on now, let's all just calm down a bit It's only a forum, lads.
