You are right, one swallow doesn't make a summer but we have had more than one swallow this season. We showed against Chelsea, Arsenal and recently Watford what we can do and did it again today. We haven't been as bad as many have said this season and have shown again what we are capable of. People should have more faith.

The situation in the Middle East, if it ever does get resolved, will finally be resolved by peace talks. You keep posting articles from the Daily Mail, why is that? Why shouldn't he switch off his phone? Because he has a team meeting to attend. It doesn't matter what reason there was for bringing the meeting forward. There was a meeting. It is his job to attend it. Everyone else was there. He had been spoken to about his lack of focus on Thursday and he turns up late for the team meeting on Saturday. There are "sanctions" if you are late to a team meeting by which I assume RK means that you are dropped to the bench if you are late. Whether he was two hours late of ten minutes, late is late. What was Koeman supposed to do? Having recently spoken to him about his lack of focus and then he turns up late for a crucial meeting he really didn't give Ron much choice did he?

Also if he was in his room it was easy enough to phone him either on his mobile or on the phone in the room, or just to knock on the door. Wouldn't you just say can someone chase up Sadio please? I know that we have been saying for a while that Long was not worth £12m and I am one of those, but recently I have been changing my opinion.

I know that we all have differing opinions about certain players but for me Davis is currently a key member of the team.
