There are "sanctions" if you are late to a team meeting by which I assume RK means that you are dropped to the bench if you are late. Whether he was two hours late of ten minutes, late is late. What was Koeman supposed to do? Having recently spoken to him about his lack of focus and then he turns up late for a crucial meeting he really didn't give Ron much choice did he?

Also if he was in his room it was easy enough to phone him either on his mobile or on the phone in the room, or just to knock on the door. Wouldn't you just say can someone chase up Sadio please?
