  1. Like it - but he could also have said "You will find out, he will be playing for you next season."
  2. With the time he is spending on Chelsea's bench right now, perhaps he has qualified for the blue badge?
  3. Good to see he is keeping an eye on his diet. Keep packing those kebabs away fella!

To be fair Lineker usually has good words to say about us.
  5. Lovin the new Maccabees CD.
  6. He wasn't turning cartwheels when we put 8 past Sunderland either. Good to see a manager who thinks there are more important things than the final result.
  7. Ron was very complimentary about him before the match but said that it was the players' decision to leave when it became clear that he wasn't going to be a first pick. Ron was ok with him leave and has no regrets. He said that he is pleased with Cork's progress at Swansea. "He had potential. He was not a young player, he was an important person and player in the group," insisted Koeman. "But always there is a moment for that kind of player, if they accept the role at that moment or they are looking for a new challenge. He took his new challenge." I guess there will always be those who want to believe that Jack Cork was treated badly by the club and that is why he left. From the sound of it to me he was valued but wasn't going to be first choice so he decided to move on.
  8. You'd think!

  11. Anyone know why Jack Cork went off? Injury or tactical?
  12. The doctor should take Glen Hoddle with him. he would sort them pesky pepperpots out!
  13. Split views on Ramirez then but I think it is harsh to call him a malingerer. Some players get injured more than others and some take longer to adapt than others, especially if the system they are asked to play in doesn't suit their strengths. We know that he can deliver the goods if used in the right way. As I said before, he is still only 24 and has plenty of football ahead of him. I hope that in whatever time he has left with us that he shows us what he can really do on a regular basis.
  14. Bumbling fool or underworld mastermind? Either way he should not be the most powerful man in football. I find it hard to believe that he hasn't been compliant in the corruption but then stranger things have happened.

  17. Because maybe you are a pessimist?
  18. I don't know how you can be so sure? He is still young and has played 34 times for his country. He has shown he can play in the premiership but he needs to show consistency and he needs to keep fit.
  19. I guess it was just a matter of time but they have now got around to opening a criminal investigation on him. Also he is suspected of making a "disloyal payment" of two million Swiss dollars to Michel Platini made for work performed between Jan 1999 and June 2002. Hmmmm.

  21. it..
  22. Koeman seems like a reasonable guy. If he decides that he doesn't want to stay I would expect him to tell the club early on and the club will then look at alternatives. It has happened to us and every other club on a regular basis and although it isn't ideal, it is football and we will cope.
