Did you see the Villa keeper? I am not saying that Kelvin isn't past his sell by date but he HAS been a good player for us over the years and we didn't drop a point yesterday because of our goalkeeper.

I agree. We don't have any real strength in depth in the gk dept.

I think this is a bit harsh. There are a lot worse keepers out there and he has been decent for this club. Somehow Francis Benali has become a club legend but he was one the worst full backs ever to play Premiership football. Davis has done a good job for us over the years. Ok, it is time for him to hang up his gloves but to pretend that he hasn't been worth his place in the past is wrong.

Slight amendment - His name is Yoshida and he should be watching from Japan.

There is a reason that Davis gets the nod before Gazzaniga and that is because he could do worse.

And if we had won every game we would be top of the table! Fact is that we are going to draw games and we are going to lose games just as we have done forever. We have all got a weakness in our knee if it twists beyond the point it is able to. It is like saying JRod's injury was caused by a weakness in his knee. Twist your knee, you are b*ggered. It is as simple as that.

I remember being told that Rory Delap looked a genius in training and could go past people with the ball for fun and to be fair to him he went on to have a long career than we did in the Premiership. Alan McClaughlin (however you spell his name) was one of the worst for me. Our first £1m signing as I recall and very poor for us, Best ever must have been Kevin Keegan. Twice European Player of the Year signs for Saints - and not for massive money either. My dad phoned me up at work to tell me. Amazing.
