I think the word "fixated" is a bit off the mark Duncan. To me he is just like many of the jokers who say they support Spurs but seem to spend their lives moaning about the club. The word support doesn't seem to feature in Alps world. If support mean picking the club apart at every opportunity, hiding when the team is winning and then infecting every thread with negativity when they lose, then yes, he is a passionate supporter. Alternative voice? You could also say negative troll. I am not the only one who gets fed up with his one dimensional negativity, but thanks for singling me out.

Alpine goes hiding when things are going well but reappears when things aren't going so well and dumps a thick layer of crud over any thread that invites his attention. He seems to have a real glee for slagging off the people who run the club and digs out certain players for his special attention who are normally given really funny names, like Gashton. Call me old fashioned but the word support implies to me an element of getting behind your club, not running it down. That is not to say that everything is always perfect, but there is a real difference between constructive criticism and basic slagging and negativity. Nice to see some of the bed wetters backing him up too. Good to see you sticking together when one of your main moaners falls flat on his face (welcome to Virgil and what a surprise, Vic is still here - not what our passionate sage was calling at all).

Sadly it happens to some players. We are not the only club to buy a player and for whatever reason it doesn't work out. He clearly can play but it doesn't look like the Premiership suits him. I hope he finds a decent club elsewhere and revitalises his career if he is done here.

It is not just Levy though is it? It goes on all of the time all over the planet. Clubs claim the moral high ground when they want to keep a player, but what about when they want shot? Football is not a very nice business but then every business that generates a lot of cash also generates a lot of bullsh*t.

I am not sure that you can just change someone's contract of employment without their consent - other than that - great plan!

Of course everyone is entitled to their opinion. The problem with a certain poster is the constant negativity, the constant assumptions that things will turn out for the worse and the constant mindset that his world is out to disappoint his expectations on a daily basis. The latest nonsense when he said that we weren't going to sign Virgil and that Les was going to cave in and let Wanyama go to Spurs is just the latest in years of cr@p that he has peddled on here. To suggest that the Mods should protect him is the biggest laugh. He is quite happy to abuse those who pull him up on his nonsense - he could have been banned dozens of times over for his online abuse. It is nice that some people feel the need to support him but I think you will find you are massively in the minority.

If this was a schoolyard and Alpine behaved the way he does on here, I have no doubt that he would end up having his pristine copy of Mein Kampf wedged firmly up his @rse.

It is good to see a CH who is comfortable enough on the ball to push forward and support the attack. I hope that is something that Ron encourages with him. If only we had English CHs who could do this!

Shame about Clasie getting crocked early on but it hasn't been a bad window for us overall. A bit worried about Cedric defensively but he looks good going forward. Comfortable top 10 I would say at this point.

Hopefully he is not too good - if so he could be off to Liverpool in a couple of years!

I am better than Yoshida and I haven't kicked a ball since 1984! Anyway, all the best in the Europa League and keep finding those players for us!
