  1. Sometimes things work out for a reason. Lovren clealry has talent but does he have the mental strength to back it up? He has been poor for liverpool this season so far and had some poor games for us last season to be fair. He was caught out of position a few times in the WC and I do wonder if he will cut it in the CL. The point is though that we could well have found ourselves a better CH so whatever he does at Liverpool I am not fussed because we seem to have sorted our defence out.
  2. To be fair David I think it was Killer who made Claus a better player rather than the other way around.
  3. Still early days but 8th would be brilliant. If Mane is as good as we are led to believe and Jay gets back to something like his old form you would hope that we would be pushing a bit higher - but I think we need to wait to 10 games in before we get too excited. Looking good though!!!
  4. Ok, no probs.
  5. Someone I work with posted the verdict of a case there were working on in court onto Facebook. Even though it was in the public domain at that point they still got into grief for putting it on social media.
  6. Maybe but I didnt think "we" (I have signed it too) were suppose to discuss this stuff openly (even if disclosed)

    Pelle

With all due respect Pastor, I shouldnt think he gives a flying one about your approval. It is the boss he needs to impress.
  8. Haven't you signed the official secrets act???
  9. Sadly I think there are some who are only happy when they have something to gripe about.
  10. When Leeds passed the ball around like that against us all those years ago you didnt stop hearing about it for ages. Pure quality.
  11. Stop doing what? Expressing an opinion. Why is it okay for you and not for me?
  12. Just expressing my opinions Alps, just as you do mate.
  13. Simply rectified. Put me on ignore.
  14. It is one thing being deeply worried about the direction the club were going in, another to post deeply unpleasant comments about the owner and members of the Board. The constant flow of negativity on here was relentless and pointless. I am not the only one who got fed up with the whinning from the bedwetters. If anyone was seeking attention surely it was them. Several of the more reasonable posters we saying wait until September and see how things pan out. Sadly that wasnt the case and the daily dribble went on and on and on. Being a wrist slitter of the highest order yourself I dont suppose it bothered you. And by all means slag me off, but calling me names is a bit childish dont you think?
  15. Great to see that you haven't lost your touch Alps!
  16. It was indeed a great win. Not only is it good to see Pelle scoring but RK said he wanted more goals from midfield and that is what we are seeing too. Koeman has settled into life in the Premiership very quickly and although he will face sterner tests then this I am really looking forward to see what he and his team can do against the Arsenals and Citehs. Not worried about United as they have a relegation battle on their hands
  17. I accept that it is your opinion, but you have been wrong about a great many things mate.
  18. Best signing of the summer - Ronald Koeman
  19. I agree that it is still early days and we will face much tougher tasks than WHU and Newcastle, but the worries that the club was going to the dogs have surely been put to bed. The team and management look solid and competitive and the doom and gloom predicted by some consistantly through the summer looks even more foolish now than it did before a ball was kicked in anger.
  20. Actually Wessex I am not in the least bothered. I am just pleased that the people who wrote us off, vilified the people running the club and spent hours every day telling us the club was being sold, there was a fire sale, Morgan and Jay were going to be sold (despite Koeman saying they were not) we were replacing quality with cut price inferior players etc etc are now having to eat their words. It doesnt take a genious to decide to wait until something plays out before taking a view on a situation but it takes a fool to jump to negative conclusions before they have any real evidence to base their stance on. There were too many people on here who seemed to be willing the Board to fail and pounced on every last bit of tittle tattle in support of their negative views. Krueger, Katharina, Reed were all idiots who didnt know what they were doing. If that is the case, long may they continue to not know what they are doing!
  21. Sweet Jesus, what a delusional individual you are. You are still trying to convice us that this is down to a few internet warriors fretting over their keyboards. I think I am safe in saying that you and your ilk made absolutely no difference to what the Board and the manager did this summer. Sorry to burst your bubble but you, I and the rest of us are not changing the world from our living rooms. Get yourself a girlfriend and start leading a normal life.
  22. You are the one who has been spouting cr*p thoughout the summer mate. You should take a long look in the mirror.
  23. You have to admit Batman/Delldays - have have spouted some absolute drivel over the summer.
  24. The cases are tried by people with decades of legal experience. It is their job to convince a jury of twelve good men/women and true of the vailidity or otherwise of the charges. There is no perfect system as has been proven in this case. The judge is very experienced and has been very outpsoken about violence against women yet common sense seems to have deserted her in this instance.
  25. So you still take credit for Morgan staying and you dont think that it had something to do with Koeman's stance that he wanted to build a team around him and Jay?
