You are right guys it was a terrible effort, I did the message with one hand on the toothbrush and my thumb doing the texting on the iPhone. I just watched the whole lot and I do believe we are going way over the top in how good the team is, we did in spells play with some class but Barnsley are just ****. No attacking idea except the odd pump up field which Seabourne was excellent. Lallana is the most gifted player on the pitch while Guly is the best passer, if we had 6 of him attacking then it would be like watching Brazil. What we are missing with that kind of performance is a brick ****house striker that will scare the defence with his pace, Lambert has become a deep midfielder option while Connolly is a superb poacher, I fear for Lambert's place as a fast striker would be awesome for us. Overall we would be knocking on the playoff door with this kind of performance no doubt, but I fear a good attacking team against us as our defence will shake under pressure. Btw a great commentary team Barnsley have compared to Merrington.

Heard how this deal came about. De Ridder mentioned to someone that he wanted to play in the premiership as it was the best league to play in he thinks. This guy mentioned it to Svensson (take it he was talking about Michael not Anders) and he said come to Southampton as it would be a great place to learn the English game, the words give it two years in that league and you will be ready was mentioned. So does he wait for us to get there or does he demand a transfer? Anyway thanks Michael for this as early signs tell us he is going to be a gem.

Football is a business, If someone offers you 6m then he's going whether he wants to stay or not. Perhaps they see this as a chance to bring in a more proven striker at a higher level like Carlton Cole? However this Lambert rumour I will give it 0.5% on happening because Rickie has never let us down and Adkins can see he offers us so much more than just his goalscoring.

Well said David in Sweden saved me writing a crappy version of yours :-D I honestly believe we can get to the Premiership with a good goalscorer as we need to have a striker on the pitch who can break fast for us, speed is the biggest fear for any defence. I'm going for these choices: Sordell from Watford Frimpong from Arsenal Some unknown striker from the Cortese network.

I will have to say it on behalf of most Saints fans. I was so grateful for what Marcus did for us, but I can't justify paying even more money when you fork out for season tickets, new saints shirts for me and my son etc. Sorry but I'm glad you guys attended, well done.

Just a thought after the Matty Taylor link. We've had some quality signings from ex skates considering they have been in our shadows for so long. Quashie, Crouch & Viarafara (haha can't spell it! Who would you rate as the best and what good ex saints went onto becoming a skate? I have Channon as the only one right now.
