Just a thought. With the rumour of this guy coming in something does not add up. With a couple of agents talking us up after some big rumoured bids and hearing about how Saints are outbidding LCFC on some of their targets, then it might suggests we are looking to bring in yet another striker with Waghorn? Perhaps Adkins is worried whether Lambert will not be able to cut it in this league while someone like Jay Rod will.
-
I was going to add something about that this morning but I thought people would start jumping on my back. Richardson on Saturday was not calm enough for me, often let the crosses conme over and gets beaten for pace too often. When the passing game is going so well you would see him looking nervous to keep it going at times which resulted in the odd hoof pass!

I know where you are coming from but you need to remember that every promotion the team achieves is a payrise for all the players. I would love Sturridge (class) as he will make them even better players. IMHO All these new deals the current players are signing is because of the new wage bracket, Hammond and Fonte have not signed yet which suggests it's in the pipeline or the terms are not what they want?
-
I always said we have two deals agreed and this week the transfer movement will be in full swing. QPR takeover finally happens and we get our CB, Leicester get a striker at last and we get Wagthorn (does not inspire me but maybe he's a back up striker for Barnard) That really does still leave us with a good 12million in the kitty, do we go for one BIG loan deal or do we finally nail a top top striker to push us on? IMHO I would test Bristol City with a 5m bid or nail a class Premiership loan deal which would cost us 2million for the year.... Yakubu? Holt?
-
Perhaps there might be some truth in the Wagthorn rumour a month ago as Lcfc have been after a replacement for ages.
-
I believe Jan Poorvelt got close?
-
But lost Pugh yesterday with ligament damage. I still believe this deal will go ahead soon.

The away end head steward was moved to another section this season so the new guy took his place vs Leeds. He quit after that game as he became stressed with it all. I expect a new steward took over the away fans yesterday as I know it was not the guy last season because I never saw him. Anyway it's **** letting them out straight away as its obviously it was going to kick off with the insults walking down the steps between each other. What I hate is the fact I'm with my two young children by the bridge getting pelted by coins from above, my children don't want to go anymore as they was scared! I can see why it was a gate of 23k only as the sensible ones kept away from the animals day trip.

Paul Lambert was given the freedom of the city, I expect Adkins will get the same treatment for us. *double checks his grammar!
-
Adkins puts on his 3rd sub on the 68 minute mark and took a mega gamble to protect our lead. Davis could have got injured or an out player which could have left us down to 10 men. That gamble was De Ridder IMHO gave us more attacking options as we would hit them on the break. Love the way he was not afraid to take off the captain and Lallana as they was not at the races today. Great 3 points as it shows the battling side to our game and I'm glad of a break now to get some fresh legs back.

Guly ****es on the wall.

That's the one I want! great viewing.

How Many straight home wins is it now?
-
As you are throwing in these amazing records, how many home games have we won on the bounce and what is our win ratio of the last 20 games please? thank you Mr Stats.
-
I suppose getting you in the ground 3 hours before kick off helps
-
I honestly believe we have this deal in the bag but Burnley are bringing in players first!
-
So lets get this right, our's is offside and they hit the green post thingy, on top of that the goal Connolly got, Guly cleary took it out of play before the hook back, so it's 3-1 right?
-
Have a look at the 2nd goal they got, when it finally made its way though to the goal line, Harding sliced it and the ball clearly hits the back of Davis head and then the crossbar before it came out again. It's shocking how much we are missing now with these fast new footballs. Just noticed that after seeing the highlights he has a point, it does not hit the post.
-
I have been looking for that website which shows every stats you need, I was hoping to see what his points ratio was for us. cheers in advance for any help.
-
Watch the first goal we scored on the Ipswich highlights site and you will see a Saints player (Harding) rolling in pain after Lambert and Lallana run away to celebrate. Why is Harding rolling on the floor then? Well, the referee only stuck his arm out and lumped him one. So funny

What is the best autobiography some of you have read? I would say a David Beckham one I found in a holiday cottage we rented, found him interesting with loads to share. Worse - Strauss from the Ashes down under this year, almost skipped pages to put me out of my misery. I did enjoy the Le Tiss one but I felt he held back on so many things.
-
I read so many sports book by those that have achieved, quite frankly I will avoid this one. Must admit reading the snips on that link made him come across as dull with very little to say, gotta admit that SOL hitting him hard as a way of welcoming him is sad because he has been crocked ever since

The last 25 league games we have led at halftime....
Pilchards replied to Kaiser Soze's topic in The Saints
Yes we did have a record like that, the scariest record I always remember Is that If Ian Rush ever scores Liverpool win, went into a hundred + -

Another fact that I have noticed, every time Saints win Pompey don't! and If Pompey win we don't. Reckon If it continues this run then we will be champions as I can't see that **** down the road win a game ever -
Just come up on twitter. Zavon Hines has signed for Burnley #Twitterclarets #WHU No idea where he plays.
