As of last week Beattie has not trained with Saints at all, Adkins wanted to have a look but Cortese said No. Beatts wants to sign for us and has expressed he will take a major pay cut to do so but it seems dead in the water at the moment. Beattie has one offer on the table and that's to a America in January.

Went to Gypsy lane at Lepe in the end..... W O W - What a crock of ****, never ever again as I lost 10 lots of tackle as it was snaggers hell, so bad that i got ****ed off and went in search of my tackle when it was low tide, so low you could almost touch the first boat lane bouy. We never had one bloody bite all night so first thing in the morning we packed up and went to Calshot, much better as everyone around us was bringing in smooth hounds and bream while I was too tired to really focus although we had several bites. Calshot next time for me and please don't even consider Gypsy lane again even though AL at Bells Sports will tell you how great it is.

Need to show some urgency during games, when we attack teams they find it hard to stop us, when we play it around with no purpose then the other team can defend us so easily these days. Going for a tight 2-1 us.

I'm taking my two kids out this Saturday for an all nighter, we are planning a barbie, tent & hopefully some fish. I hear Lepe by the two metsls things is good but too strong a tide as you struggle to hold, also magazine lane is good on both tides. Anyone got some good suggestions please. Cheers.

Very true that. I remember Dennis Bergkamp who went something like 11 games without a goal and the papers really went on about it. Anyway he scores a 25 yarder vs us as it bounces off both posts.

Charlie Austin for starters & Snowcroft. Some players you always know they will get a goal against us, can we name a team of 11 with a keeper you know always gets lucky as the ball bounces off his head etc.

I suppose he will approach it the same way as we did last season which was not a problem.
