Got mine and my sons today, not quite where I wanted however beggars can't be choosers

I swear they must get handed a script and told 'any interview you give must include this' Every single one of them bangs on about how amazing it is to be at a League Two club and how wonderful it all is

I heard in the news that the planning committee are meeting today to discuss an application for a lapdancing club in Southsea. I had a quick look online and apparently this is an artists impression:

Not sure if the players will wait that long Sue, given their age they'll be likely to want to secure another season as soon as possible. Can't see anyone in that situation wanting to wait on a promise that might not materialise. Especially given the reputation at that end of the M27 for failure to pay bills.

They've blown it all on the promotion push haven't they...... Oh dear........

David James hasn't retired yet. I'm not sure where he is on the hero/villain swingometer but I'm sure the bestest would welcome him with open arms

As if he was ever going to play for us
-
Rooney should have been dropped after South Africa along with the rest of the so called 'golden generation'. They had their chance and it was never going to happen. It really grates on me that he's got that record because he does not deserve it (Just feels like he got an award for attendance) He used to be great and still shows flashes of brilliance but that's long gone now. There are other, young hungry strikers coming up and they need fame time at international level. All Rooney is doing is denying them that game time. Even if he dropped to midfield he'd just be doing the same to a midfielder. And yes my option of him will not change even if he scores the winning goal for us in the final of the Euro's. His time is done.

Fixed it for you

Actually I would too - to David Bowie's Heros.
-
It would be ok if they changed things, kept it a bit fresh. But to hear the same old tune being slaughtered while the team put in yet another lacklustre performance is very dull.

I always believed the point of a band was to add to the atmosphere. All I see now is 11 players on the pitch occasionally putting in some nice play, a band not exactly raising hell and a dwindling number of supporters standing there, depressed with what they are seeing (and have paid for) The whole thing needs to stop, have a clear out and start again. It'll never happen though.

Zlatan is Zlatan. He is both top and bottom and also Zlatan.

Ah yes. The 'England Band'..... As welcome to my ears as a vuvuzela. I'm glad I'm not alone in wanting them gone. They used to be great and really added to the atmosphere, now they are just an orchestra version of TWTCB

Top quality friendly opposition for the bestest to see there. Real showcase football.

We've never had a manager with the balls to pick anyone else
-
I absolutely will not support a team that is made up of players who consistently fail to perform at international level and Wayne Rooney is at the top of that particular pile no matter what he does for his club. I am tired of seeing him waddle around the pitch, game after game with his hands in the air swearing at the ref because he lost the ball again. I'm also completely finished watching him stand up front and get f*ck all in the way of supply because the team picked behind seem incapable of stringing two passes together. And don't try to throw this qualifying run at me - no top quality opposition played against and if you believe England to be this amazing super side we should have been averaging four or five goals a game. Instead they were all dire affairs with our national side failing to blaze a trail, even the media who are the first to initiate the w@nkfest when England win have been very critical in the run up to the Euro's. As for Wilshere, it's a total f*cking joke. I don't care how good he is- he hasn't had the game time and he's constantly injured. What he needs is time to recuperate not a full international competition in the time he should be recovering and healing his body. It's total b0ll0cks to pick him and then expect him to perform when he's in this condition. So honestly - I am expecting England to go out early, just like in Brazil because I don't see that anything has changed from that farce. I won't be watching because when I do I start to get my hopes up that our national side might actually achieve something and it really p!sses me off when they fail. Again. Especially when the problems are so plainly evident. And do you know what? I actually think England winning the Euro's would be a terrible thing because it would be taken as a vindication of the current manager and the current policy.

K.Billy: "5 players want to leave this Summer"
Mr Biscuits replied to trousers's topic in The Saints
If that could involve Keeeley Hawes astride me in the bath, smearing pizza all over my naked quivering chest that would be just fine. I'll just be.... Um..... Yes well I'll just be over here, thinking........ -
Yet again I am amazed at just how inept an England Manager can be. Even in a friendly. Tbh I'm not too fussed about the Euro's - I genuinely think we aren't going to be going far anyway so it doesn't matter who the owl faced buffoon picks.

Thursday doesn't Zlatan

K.Billy: "5 players want to leave this Summer"
Mr Biscuits replied to trousers's topic in The Saints
I reckon the club will buy some players this summer and sell some others....... -
Of what? The national tiddlywinks team? As for that article..... Is he tripping on anything when he writes? However... Selling players to fund a rebuild of the team surely means there's nothing coming from anyone else to do it. Anyone reckon the HNW's have reached their limit?
