Nice to see a rare clean sheet. Made a couple of good saves including the Bamford one at the end. His big weak area is crosses though. Just doesn't look comfortable. He clearly isn't a "play out" keeper but we had that in Baz and he couldn't save a thing, so not sure we can be too picky.

I think 1-0 was a fair reflection of the game. We had the better chances overall despite Bamfords miss at the end. Still worrying how poor we looked once Stewart went off. Armstrong just doesn't give us anything upfront.

David Ornstein put a piece out claiming Tonda was a concrete option as soon as Still was sacked. Once he picked up 2 or 3 wins it was nailed on I think. Even Sports said they wanted it wrapped up sooner but it took longer due to work permit problems. At the end of the day Spors and Tonda are mates - it was always going to happen. And yes you're right. Trollope certainly or even Lallana would have made more sense for an interim role.
