I'm not sure. Sheffield United weren't as good as their final points tally suggested. My mate is a fan and said they were poor in a lot of games but scraped a large number of wins.
-
I think we'd probably accept £25m if someone like West Ham came in for him. As for Dibling, I'd imagine (and hope) the club will actively be looking to cash in now because if he's set on not singing a new contract, we can't afford to lose him on the cheap/on a free.
-
lets be honest, he doesn't want to learn anything. He made that quite clear. He will only play one way. Whilst they will win a fair few games, I'd back us to beat them twice.
-
Will be a shame I think, heard some good things about Thornton but yes you'd assume so.
-
That's nonsense. I'm not pretending he is some sort of saviour for us but he would pick up another job at a decent level easily.
-
Can't moan at the club regarding Rohl. If he's not sure on coming here then he can do one. Imagine if we waited on him, he decided to go elsewhere and in the meantime time missed out on Still as well. The club would be getting pelters.
-
Agree with this. Had enough of all this "we play one way and one way only" bullshit.
-
Clearly not overly keen on us then. No doubt he is/was first choice but if he's going to mess around waiting for something better then it's good that we've seemingly moved on.
-
I think the club are rightly looking at managers who can make us more organised but also offer a threat going forwards. Martins tactics were kamikaze and although we scored a lot and got promoted, we conceded way too many goals. Juric's tactics left us badly exposed through the middle of the pitch and again let in way too many. We are slightly more solid under Rusk but have offered absolutely nothing going forward (he won't even play a striker, even if the options aren't great) It looks like it's going to be Still and his track record shows his teams score more than they concede, which has to be a positive!
-
Seems like yesterday he said that he wants a job in this country, so I doubt that.
-
The same one, to me he said "I hope you" then corrected himself and said "we"
-
Fernandes pretty much confirmed (without actually confirming) in the post match interview that he won't be here next season. Guess it was inevitable.
-
Thought Rusk was going to be alright but tbh he's just as bad as the rest. Can't wait to see the back of this season.

Cleverly did a decent job at Watford given the circumstances but he doesn't have enough overall experience for me. Rohl has much more coaching under his belt at least. As does Still, despite his age.
-
It's going to be Still or Rohl then.
-
It was an interesting listen when Will Still was auditioning on MNF a month or so ago. Certainly sounds like he'd be a better fit than Martin was anyway. Whoever ends up getting the job let's just make sure it's sorted well before pre season starts.
-
Well the majority I've seen are raving about him..
-
Him being dropped was pretty odd. He's definitely got something about him.
-
Totally agree.
-
This is one reason why I don't really want Cooper next season. I've just had enough of 5 at the back.
-
I agree. Despite having ups and downs, Bednarek clearly cares. THB gave it the big one when we were promoted and doing well but his performances and attitude this season prove he's a bit of a twat.
-
Ralph officially sacked by Wolfsburg. I'll be pretty shocked if Rohl doesn't end up at either Leipzig or Wolfsburg.
-
To be fair I've kinda supported this set up against the better sides but away at dog shit Leicester you've got to be a bit more imaginative. Rusk had a shocker yesterday.
-
Agreed. A handful of decent games isn't enough to cement yourself as a premier league level player. Dibling certainly has potential but currently only KWP, Ramsdale and Fernandes have proven themselves at this level.
-
I agree. Mid table if we are lucky.
