Beyond the Championship, where do we go from here? The highs of Wembley feel like a distant memory, and the initial excitement when Sports Republic took over has all but faded. What’s next for our club? Murmurs of a ten-year plan—or is it just speculation? What exactly is the vision here? A little transparency wouldn’t go amiss. Fans deserve to know the true direction of this ownership and tenure. What’s the plan for our club’s future? What I witnessed after the abysmal display at Brentford was deeply saddening. It epitomized everything currently wrong with our club. The players seemed to throw in the towel, imploding under pressure. There was no direction, no cohesion—no pride, grit, or willingness to fight. This isn’t the team we stand behind. The lack of urgency and fragile mindset has become a recurring theme at Southampton FC in recent years. Too often, the team resembles rabbits caught in headlights, crumbling under pressure. It’s a pattern that’s all too familiar—and deeply concerning for the club’s future. So, what’s the real catalyst for our current predicament? Is it the poor managerial appointments? Are the players simply not good enough for this league? Is it a fitness issue? Or are they lacking the mental resilience and fight needed to compete at this level? Sports Republic have now been our owners for three years. At this point, you have to start questioning their football knowledge and decision-making abilities as overseers of this club. Dress it up however you like, but something has to change. It’s too early to judge or blame Jurić, but appointing a Director of Football and refreshing the scouting setup wouldn’t hurt the situation. Sports Republic need to adapt, evolve, and learn from their mistakes. They’re creating a legacy—but not in a positive way. We’re on track to match or surpass Derby's record in the Premier League. These statistics are damaging and humiliating, and I truly feel for the fanbase, especially the younger generation who will have to endure ridicule because of such records. Dragan, it’s time to wake up and smell the reality. Tough footballing decisions need to be made because, right now, you don’t have the right footballing minds in place to oversee this club. You and the fans have been sold a lie. We March On!

Give the lad a chance.... He hasn't even been appointed yet. No need to act like a lemonade sandwich.... 🤣
-
I don't know nothing about the lad, give him the remainder of the season. If he miraculously keeps us up then extend the contract for a season or two...
-
I'd take Moyes all day long. He knows the league, will get the team organised and install a bit of pride, bollocks and grit. Stability is what we need right now and someone who can offer qualities of leadership and experience. Possibly the best hope we have of remaining in the Premier league what isn't to like about it? Even if it's a short term contract until the end of season and review...... What's the alternative try to be clever and appointment a unknown entity at this level? We can't afford to continue to fuck around....

It's gonna be the Danish Geezer!

Chatgpt solved that riddle and recommended three managers. Kjetil Knutsen Steven Gerrard Ralph Hasen
-
What time is Rasmus going to unveil the Chatgpt Avatar as the new manager ? Can picture it now! Rolls out this android dressed in a blazer, chinos and vaping like absolute c##nt 🤣
-
I'm gonna go with Potter 😉
-
You gotta Rohl with it.....
-
I still think we should try to bring in someone like Moyes or Rafa Benitez. Someone with a bit of experience in this league and can immediately instill a bit of bollocks and resilience.

Glad he is gone couldn't stand the arrogant twat! What we now is a experienced no nonsense manager who can steady the ship. If we are to be relegated let's least show a bit of bollocks eh? Also a director of football would be a smart acquisition with a proper sound strategy. None of this tika taka fannying it around the back nonsense. I wouldn't mind a return to the pressing attacking football. Mind you that would mean our players would actually have to be fit.... currently they are not

Sack this c##t now embarrassing
-
Hopefully we get battered and they sack him.....

Right, state your name, cuz. Russell, innit? What we doing today? Tiki-taka, innit? Yeah, fucking tiki-taka, innit? Yeah, fire on the pitch, let’s go! Man try say he’s better than Russ, Tell my man, pipe down. Mention my name on your pod, Oi, gaffer, calm down. Better than Russ? Pipe down. Best in the league? Pipe down. Couple man called me a Legohead gaffer, On the touchline, I’m a Legohead gaffer. If that makes me a Legohead gaffer, The man in your vids? Legohead gaffer. The man in your pics? Legohead gaffer. Man wanna chat about Legohead gaffer, Big man like me with a plan, Building the squad like Lego, my man. At home, I’m fondling Pinder’s Brad Pitts, But on the pitch, I get to play with some bigger tits. Players on form, yeah, they’re loving my tricks, Tiki-taka style, got ‘em doing quick flicks. From the training ground to the game day hits, Legohead gaffer, yeah, I’m building this ship. Shout out to Sports Republic fam, In the boardroom meetings, they’re scheming the plan. Eat in the boardroom, vaping like cunts, Talking about profits while we’re scoring no stunts. Some say our scouts ain't got a clue, are they having a laugh? Manz signed Ross Stewart, he’s allergic to grass. Spent all summer hyping up his class, But he’s stuck in the physio, not making a pass. Now the fans every matchday are calling me a wanker! Saying, "Oi, you stupid bearded twat! Why’s the fucking keeper keep passing it back?" Lads, it’s the system—just cut me some slack!

Since Sports Republic took over the club, it's been one poor decision after another, coupled with slow, reactive behavior. I've supported Southampton since I was 8 years old, and I can honestly say I've never felt this disinterested or disheartened with the club. This season has been an embarrassment. We're limping back to the Championship without any urgency, grit, determination, or passion. I genuinely can’t understand why we’re sticking with Russell Martin and this reckless, kamikaze style of football. The stats don’t lie—we’re making record mistakes leading to goals and sitting at the bottom of the league. Most of the fanbase can see that without adapting, we’ll keep conceding stupid goals. Even the pundits, week in and week out, are baffled by the stubbornness to keep playing this way. Yet the manager has the audacity to blame the loyal, hard-paying fanbase and take digs at the players, while he’s the one serving up this uninspiring, shambolic football on a regular basis. So, we have a ten-year plan? Well, what exactly is it? To settle in the Championship, sell off our best assets like Tyle Dib and Fernandes, and hope we somehow claw our way back to the Premier League? And then what? Hope Russell Martin magically transforms into prime Pep and takes Saints storming up the table? It’s laughable. We need proper footballing minds running this club. If we had a competent director of football, they wouldn’t tolerate this nonsense every week. They’d be telling Martin, “The style is rubbish—adapt it or get out! Our scouts need firing—seriously, what are they doing? We’ve unearthed "gems" like Ross Stewart, a man who seems allergic to grass. And let’s not forget Larios or the obscene amount of money wasted on the likes of Oršić. It’s a complete joke. As for Rasmus “Goldenballs” Wankerson, he epitomizes everything that’s wrong with the club right now—a complete charlatan. Shove your TED Talks and books where the sun doesn’t shine; you’re absolutely clueless, a fraud. The sooner he fucks off, the better! Massive changes are needed, and Dragan seriously needs to grow a pair and make those changes happen.

What's Rafa up to these days?

Get Moyes in

Fingers crossed 🤞 I've given up watching saints this season with this arrogant egotistical twat overseeing things

Sports Republic What’s the actual end goal here? To wave the white flag and surrender our Premiership status? That’s bound to hit us hard in the pocket, isn’t it? Why the silence? Why isn’t anyone stepping up, taking ownership, and reassuring the fans? A simple "Hold tight, this is to be expected" would go a long way. If we truly can't afford £12 million to pay off Martin, how much are we set to lose if we're relegated? Sorry, but can someone please make this make sense? Is the plan to get relegated and bounce back stronger, expecting Martin to have us playing like a well-oiled Man City in their prime? Are they that deluded? Does anyone at our club know what the hell they’re doing? Scouting has been awful for seasons. Managerial appointments—nothing short of a disaster. Right now, the manager’s tactical ability is absolutely hopeless. The table doesn’t lie, and we’re on track to break Derby’s record. The insistence on playing this kamikaze type football is costing us. The fans know it the pundits are calling it out on a weekly basis. Hell even our keepers try and bypass it by kicking the ball long and doing the right thing and ending up getting a bollocking..... Coaches—what exactly are they teaching our players? All creativity and directness have been coached out of them. And as for defending set pieces, we might as well lay a mattress in the box—at least that would show more resilience than this shambles. It hurts watching this shitshow unfold. Where’s the passion and pride? Massive changes are needed. It’s time for Dragan to step up—or sell up. If he isn’t capable of being ruthless and realizing people are taking advantage of his good nature, then he’s part of the problem.
