Ouch, my bad! Best listen to Baj he seems to be a technical guru. For what its worth, I followed a guide on the net to change my own xbox drive, got the part numbers matched up and it worked fine, had no problems over a year later.

Well if I wanted to get away with it, id shoot the person I hate in the face (for the purposes of this thread lets call that person "Kevin Phillips"), anyway, so i've shot poor old Kev in the face, i'd then cover him in petrol and burn the corpse. Once the corpse is reduced to a pile of ash, i'd clean the area with some sort of super strong acid to remove the evidence, and put Kevs remains in the compost heap.

I had a ps3, sold it after 6 months, the exclusive games arent much cop. Anyway, disc drive failure is more common these days than the red rings o' death (RROD has been solved, not many of those boxes' knocking about these days). If your feeling handy you can get a new / refurbed drive off of ebay and swap it over yourself, pretty easy to do, just have to make sure you get a drive that matches your old one, as I believe there are 2 different types (ones made by one company and the other by another). Loads of guides if you get stuck, google is your friend. Will be alot cheaper than getting a ps3 / black dust gathering waste of time.

Ello, Just built a new comp, tis a beast because I do alot of 3D design and rendering, the laptop couldnt cut the mustard so thought I'd splurge some cash on a new build (its a monster!) Anyway, im using my old Sony Bravia TV atm, its only 1080i, and whats worse the ****er wont accept any input from the comp other than VGA at 1078x768 (really, really annoying) ive tried everything to make it work with HDMI or DVI but all I get is a message on screen "OUT OF RANGE", which is bull**** as I know what the display can handle! So im looking for a new screen, around 22-24 inches, full HD screen, LCD, you get the idea.
