Greenridge Posted 8 October, 2009 Share Posted 8 October, 2009 That'll upset a few of the myopic posters we have. Let's hope he continues the form he has shown in recent weeks.
Colinjb Posted 8 October, 2009 Share Posted 8 October, 2009 That'll send his value up a bit! Oh wait, we don't need to think like that anymore....... do we......
S-Clarke Posted 8 October, 2009 Share Posted 8 October, 2009 He's had a good month - seems to have overcome those nerves from last season and is just enjoying playing. and he's found a position... Glad to see the recognition for Hammond too, who i think has been superb for us in every game.

I agree but also I'm surprised Harding doesn't feature as apart from Hammond the other two have only really improved towards the end of the month whereas Harding was shining earlier in the month and his form has dropped a bit in the last few games although I missed the Gillingham game. Hammond on balance should be No 1 and any 2 from the other 3.

CHAPEL END CHARLIE Posted 9 October, 2009 Share Posted 9 October, 2009 Good choice and isn't it great to see some real competition for this award now . If Adam Lallana can maintain this rate of progress from being a naturally gifted but no terribly effective player into maybe the best young prospect in this division then it won't just be Player of the Month awards he'll be receiving soon - but serious interest from EPL clubs .
