Professor Posted 25 October, 2009 Share Posted 25 October, 2009 After the MK Dons game, Saints have scored more goals than Leeds, who are current league leaders and only 3 teams have scored more goals than Saints. Given the slow start, as the squad was being built this is quite a remarkable performance. With Adam Lallana featuring high in the goal scorer's list from midfield, and two prolific strikers in Lambert and Connolly this is becoming truly exciting. Can they keep it up? How will we feel iwhen we only win by one odd goal? And which club is going to get an absolute hiding (Brighton, maybe?)
iansums Posted 25 October, 2009 Share Posted 25 October, 2009 Have to say it's becoming quite Arsenal like the way we keep 'grinding' out the same scoreline: 3-1 to the Southampton, 3-1 to the Southampton

CHAPEL END CHARLIE Posted 25 October, 2009 Share Posted 25 October, 2009 Football is such a simple game - signing players of Lambert's proven ability at this level represents almost no risk to the club and David Connolly (injury concerns aside) is a equally sure thing . Minimising risk is the key . To state the obvious : Wealthy owner + good management + quality players = ps -This the only VICTORY pompyites get to see these days
