Always an amazing day out. Absolute carnage drinking session. Pubs having a 'cooling off period' between 5 and 6... place your bets when the police will roll into town in the evening and shut the town down.

 

Last year was 10:30 - I suspect this year will be similar. My old dear has booked a taxi back for 12:15am, I would guess that is rather ambitious.

try to catch a guy called Ray Wills from the latimer street music shop, he usually plays some flamenco/classical guitar. Amazingly good, normally early saturday afternoon near barclays.

I saw a brilliant nutty band in the Tudor last year...the woman was completely stoned and bonkers but brilliant as well.

Beggars fair is great laugh for us locals.. I tend to see people I havnt seen since school..... utterly inbred and bonkers, but a good laugh...as long as you stay out of the tavern.... got a nice photo of Stu Romsey Saints back as well.....
