The Saints Fanzine Issue Two: On Sale Saturday

Hi guys, just wanting to let you all know that the second isssue is back from the printers and will be on sale before and after Saturday's game against Rochdale! Only problem with this issue, which was planned as a tribute to Liebherr, was that Cortese sacked Pardew just after we sent it to the printers! However, we managed to make some changes so there is some Pardew reaction in there.

This month's fanzine, for which we have used different printers, and therefore contains far fewer adverts, contains far more fanziney material and we have tried to adapt it towards some of the comments made about the first issue on this board.

It includes:

- Markus Liebherr tribute and a fan's eye view

- Reaction to Pardew's dismissal

- Northam Steve is our fan of the month

- A comparison of The Dell and St. Marys

- A look (how ironic) at Saints' extensive coaching staff

- A new, improved Saints Quiz

- Debate: Should Pardew have called on the fans to be less negative?

- The return of both Professor Bedford and the Wetherill Forecast

- A Pulis joke

As last time, just £1 and we will be selling on the main routes into St. Mary's. Find us at the end of Northam Rd between King Alfred Pub and the tunnel; Britannia Rd; outside the Itchen Stand.

Come and find us, and if no sign give me a ring on 07828 178154. Thanks, Will

I don't know what the age range of your contributors is like, or their match going experience, but would be good to have some accounts from seasons gone by, such as the 1983-84 season when we finished 2nd and got to the FA Cup semi final , and the various European away games we had during that period. Even accounts of landmark games in our history , long train / coach trips up north stuff like that, or great cup nights at the Dell etc.
