stanthemanfairoak Posted 4 December, 2010 Share Posted 4 December, 2010 just been talking to a mate of mine a norwich fan says that surman has a bad knee injury and will not play again this season, very sad to hear great player for us.
SNSUN Posted 4 December, 2010 Share Posted 4 December, 2010 Started well for them, it'd have made forthcoming trips to Carrow Road more bearable if I could've watched him play. (Stupid girlfriend...) Hope he gets back to fitness in time for a return to a newly promoted Saints. :-)
NickG Posted 4 December, 2010 Share Posted 4 December, 2010 sad to hear, hope he does well there. Always seemed a very decent lad as well as good player. (although wouldn't put him as a "great player" for us!)
Granite_City_Saint Posted 4 December, 2010 Share Posted 4 December, 2010 According to Sky Sports he is out for the rest of the year (i.e. about 4 weeks) not the rest of the season

david in sweden Posted 4 December, 2010 Share Posted 4 December, 2010 According to Sky Sports he is out for the rest of the year (i.e. about 4 weeks) not the rest of the season shame all the same. Pity a "local " lad (OK I know he was born in S.A.) but he grew up here and his parents are both Sotonians... was " forcibly sold " to pay salaries the month before ML bought up the club. He might have got a better pay day, but I'm sure he'd prefer to be at SMS . Maybe not Prem.class after all , but he 'd be a useful addition to our midfield stability around about now .
