dune Posted 12 January, 2011 Share Posted 12 January, 2011 Should we name a toliet at SMS in his honour? Could we have a poll please mods.
doughnutman Posted 12 January, 2011 Share Posted 12 January, 2011 I think we should bring him back to flip the coin when playing that higher or lower game at half time. That way he could be the official St Mary's tosser.

Danish Saint Posted 12 January, 2011 Share Posted 12 January, 2011 How about renaming the entire sewer system in his "cough" honor?
dune Posted 12 January, 2011 Author Share Posted 12 January, 2011 I propose the public toilet at the back of the northam Stand. Of course we'd need a plaque and some modifications to turn it into a fitting tribute. Any suggestions?
trousers Posted 12 January, 2011 Share Posted 12 January, 2011 No, we owe Lowe a debt of gratitude if anything. Without his actions over the preceding years we wouldn't be where we are today (i.e. a vibrant debt free club on the up). Thank you Mr Lowe. LostBoys Posted 12 January, 2011 Share Posted 12 January, 2011 I suggested a while ago that we should have an entirely new set of urinals at St Marys where everyone has his picture where you need to aim.

once_bitterne Posted 12 January, 2011 Share Posted 12 January, 2011 Cortese = Lowe + money. Not that I am complaining mind. I thought Lowe did a very good job here just as Cortese is doing. The problem is that both have a terrible grasp of PR. Which is weird as to sweet talk a football fan is the easiest thing in the world. (if in doubt just ask Mikey (Saints Go) Wilde) It's a shame that Lowe's appaling PR with the fans with always overshadow his acheivements here. He took a club with a run down ground, academy that had done nothing since the Wallaces and playing squad just about the worst ever in the Prem (bar one player) which was a purpetual relegation candidate and turned it into a club capable of competing in the Prem League in the 21st century. I cannot think any sane fan would look at our squads from the late 90s and say that apart from MLT we would have been relegated. The writing was therefore on the wall that as soon as MLT's powers on the pitch wained we would get relegated. However, after the takeover, the setup put in place by Lowe actually meant the club improved even tho MLT's influence got less and less. Under Hoddle and WGS we were a top 10 Prem club and reached the Cup final. This was a pretty good achievment given what Lowe inherited and also the fact that we were one of the few Prem teams not able to run at huges losses due to being subsidised by a sugar daddy.... Jimmy_D Posted 12 January, 2011 Share Posted 12 January, 2011 Lowe isn't anything to do with Saints anymore... This thread is pointless/sarcastic... I could go on...
