NickG Posted 29 November, 2008 Share Posted 29 November, 2008 Kelvin - Jan told us to keep it down more and change it for second half and was spot on. We want to show fans the form at home. Every team Jan puts out will always give 100% for him. I am 100% committed to saints, said it before and will say it again I am not interested in going anywhere else. Rocker268 Posted 29 November, 2008 Share Posted 29 November, 2008 Was this on Radio Hampshire? my radio went funny just after the match and I could hardly hear the third half, although I did hear Kelvin's comment about him always being ready for England =p unless i heard that wrong

Saint Martini Posted 30 November, 2008 Share Posted 30 November, 2008 Ultimately, its not up to him, I'm afraid......... Ultimately it is actually up to him. If he doesn't sign a contract somewhere else then there is nothing SFC can do about that.

One way or another, his playing time for us will be finished. Lowe will just do another Skacel to force him out. Besides, his contract is up this summer. Saint Martini Posted 30 November, 2008 Share Posted 30 November, 2008 Unless he isnt offered a new contract! we would be mad not to though especially if he happy and keeps this kind of form But then he leaves in the summer, not January. Lets take it one season at the time. Ofcourse if a PL club came in and offered him silly money he would probably leave but I doubt he would leave otherwise. He will probably get a better deal as a free agent so he has something to gain by staying until June at least assuming he would want to leave at some point. Besides that I don't believe for one second he would be benched because of his salary, the backup just isn't good enough for that (assuming the first choice is Bart, I don't know Forecasts qualities well enough to make such a judgement). To conclude, unless a PL club offers silly money to Davis he will still be playing here on the first of February.
eelpie Posted 30 November, 2008 Share Posted 30 November, 2008 What a turnaround. Fans couldn't wait for KD to be replaced in goal when he came here. Now we are nervous he might be moved on.

Yes, and I must have missed his name on the team sheet for the first 15-odd games. Oh.....

alpine_saint Posted 30 November, 2008 Share Posted 30 November, 2008 God you really are an odd poster Why so ? I received a huge amount of abuse from NickG about 6 weeks ago for predicting that Killer was finished. NickG Posted 30 November, 2008 Author Share Posted 30 November, 2008 and I stand by my criticism of you revelling in his injury and insulting him. Look back at your posts. I said I will wait and see what him and Drs say - unlike to who wanted a drama. You disappear whenever there is a football debate and you are confronted with reason. If you want to profess your football expertise what are your current thoughts on the waste of money lightweight midfielder rumoured to be leaving for a profit? Schneiderlin for anyone else who didn't recognise Schneiderlin from the accurate description and assessment written, and written off, by the knowledgeable Alpine as being lightweight. But still guess he is right, we are a sh1t club with sh1t fans!
