Viking Warrior Posted 5 November, 2013 Share Posted 5 November, 2013 Living up in Orkney it's very difficult to be a follower of fashion but what is it with all these footballers and sportsman suddenly wearing these huge beards . I could understand if they were being selected for the Shetland jarl squad . As it is mandatory to have a viking beard . latter day saint Posted 5 November, 2013 Share Posted 5 November, 2013 the mention of jarl squads brings back memories of p1ssed up hairy old farts,usually waving large swords,axes or flaming torches about as they bellowed out sh1te songs as they went on a glorified pub crawl around the district. the beards seemed to have the practical use of not just keeping them warm but also storing enough food particles to keep them sustained on the p1ss up. why anyone could think they were fasionable is beyond me Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
