qwertySFC Posted 21 December, 2008 Share Posted 21 December, 2008 2003 Rupert had a little thought to himself... I thought we are 4th in the premier league, we have sell out crowds at St Marys , a manger who knows how to gain results and a united fan base..... I wonder what Rupert is thinking as he sits down in 2008... ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~~ ~ ~ ~~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ 2008 We are 4th from bottom in the Championship (Divison 2 in old money) we have average crowds of 12,000 , a manager who is on another planet and a divided fan base who bait each other in our own ground... He will be thinking, this style of football is attractive and exciting to watch, we have 27000 at the ground yesterday so the customers must like it, and all the teams that come here say how much they enjoy playing against us and what a wonderful advert we are for the development of young players and good football. Thats the problem, clueless.

Whitey Grandad Posted 21 December, 2008 Share Posted 21 December, 2008 Our average league crowd after Saturday for this season is 16,644. Doesn't that include all the Season Tickets even if they can't make it?
rocknrollman no2 Posted 21 December, 2008 Share Posted 21 December, 2008 I doubt if Lowe will even give us a thought on Christmas day. He will be out shooting ducks and drinking champange, while Wilde is in the background being Ruperts man servant.
