paulwantsapint Posted 31 December, 2008 Share Posted 31 December, 2008 In an ideal dream world Nathan Dyer would start against manure score a great H/T in 3-0 win then get sold for big £millions which will save the club IT AINT GONNA HAPPEN So what is best realistic result ? IMHO think that draw is fantasy as with alot of luck & KD as Superman it could happen which gives us big payday at OT Believe that any score line less than 0-5 is almost possibly liveable
Andy_Porter Posted 31 December, 2008 Share Posted 31 December, 2008 Would be happy with a score draw and a chance to go to Old Trafford. I'm not really bothered about the result though, just hope we aren't a total embarassment.
Nexstar Posted 31 December, 2008 Share Posted 31 December, 2008 Just put in a good performance and show some passion and i'll be happy. 3-0 and under isn't anything bad though.
L1Minus10 Posted 31 December, 2008 Share Posted 31 December, 2008 If we concede less than 5 goals I'll be happy. The best we could ever hope for is a 0-0 or 1-
SaintRobbie Posted 31 December, 2008 Share Posted 31 December, 2008 If ManUre think they're coming for an easy win and pack their team full of youngsters to rest the stars then most realistic score for me is 1-1. But Fergie is now a wise old beast when it comes to Saints having been stung in the past. He also knows the FA Cup has to be a competition he aims to win as the League is not looking likely this year. ...So I think he will bring more stars than we deserve to be beaten with. League not looking likely for manure this season, you have to be joking. 2 games in hand and 7 points behind Liverpool, who will likely be losing their captain to a few weeks at her majesty's pleasure before the end of the season. To me Manure are clear favourites. Doesn't detract from the fact though that Fergie still intends to win the Cup, and will only rest one or two stars, probably Ronaldo and Rooney, but will still have more than enough to beat us at a canter. Luckily its only live on Sultana so not too many of the general public will see us thrashed.

Stu Man Do Posted 31 December, 2008 Share Posted 31 December, 2008 Fortunately were not on Sky heart says we could up it and shock everyone with a draw head says anything that doesnt start Southampton nil will be a good result! Lets hope they treat us in a complacent manner and we have spiderman back!
West End Saint Posted 31 December, 2008 Share Posted 31 December, 2008 I just dont know with our team I thought we would batter Forest I also thought we would get hammered by Reading you have to think United will roll us over by 3 or 4 without trying too hard but as I have pointed out my predictions are always wrong. I dont really mind getting hammered by United would gladly swap beatting them for 3 points but I am looking forward to the game just hope we have a go after all we have nothing to lose might as well lose 3 nil going for it rather than 1 nil trying to defend for 90 mins
saints-cris Posted 31 December, 2008 Share Posted 31 December, 2008 I think 3 or 4-0 is the best we can hope for. Their bench is going to be packed full of stars.. and one of Tevez, Rooney or Berbatov is going to start. Just gotta try and enjoy it really.. there's always the off-chance a miracle could happen.. SaintDonkey Posted 31 December, 2008 Share Posted 31 December, 2008 A bunch of Saints payers playing for the shop window against Man Ure reserves looking to just get back in the nice warm dressing room. If we have the right attitude - and more importantly Man Ure has the wrong attitude - we might scrape a draw. But bugger that a Saints win is the only thing I could ever hope for. 2-1 Saints. Mole Posted 31 December, 2008 Share Posted 31 December, 2008 If United field their youth team against our first team youth team we'll be lucky to get a 2-0 defeat. If United field a moderate team we'll be lucky to get a 4-0 defeat. If United field a full strength team we'll be lucky to get a 6-0 defeat. All top class players. They have such a strong squad, I'd bet any youth Fergie would be willing to play would walk into our starting XI.
