Um Bongo Posted 2 January, 2009 Share Posted 2 January, 2009 Has been down for an undisclosed Fee (Believed to be around £11m) Now, Lowe was here when he was sold. Surely he has got a Sell On Fee in there somewhere, or was it a bad move by Lowe?
St Chalet Posted 2 January, 2009 Share Posted 2 January, 2009 Done to death many times. Le Saux was part of the deal and no sell on as his original contract was fulfilled. Next...
SaintJackoInHurworth Posted 2 January, 2009 Share Posted 2 January, 2009 PANTS!!! What a disaster by Lowe there! To think a 10% sell-on fee would have netted up to £1.2m based on transfer fee of up to £12 quoted on BBC website: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/m/man_city/7807951.stm
Saint_clark Posted 2 January, 2009 Share Posted 2 January, 2009 FFS, Lowe out etc.... Rubbish. You will never see a deal involving cash, a part exchange AND a sell on fee. It would have to be a player of George Bests quality for us to command that kind of deal.

So lets say 10% on 5 million, even so yes a useful amount of money but seeing as we got million up front for him + Le saux's wages subsidised I imagine we've sort of had our moneys worth out of them. Does anyone know if Chelsea funded any of Cork's wages?
