Koeman not happy with away form

any ideas why Koeman has made a point about our away form when there is nothing to worry about?

We should have won more - last week was a point in case should have had all three but ended up with one. Leicester was another - we should have got something. West Ham away etc etc.

Great 4 goals today but if you were there you know it should have been 7 or 8.

Made the game difficult for us due to not taking chances. Long the main culprit today.

PL quality sides won't give you that many tame opportunities to squander.

Lol you complain we don't score enough away from home, then when we score four, you complain we only scored four away from home. Yes we had chances to score more but we should win any game where we score four.

Our problem today ( if winning and scoring four goals is a problem) is that we leaked two very soft goals against a very poor attack. Scoring, for once, wasn't the problem today defending was.

Not a complaint. Just saying we showed again that we need a lot of chances to score. Anyone else who was there will back that up, some pretty careless play around the box.

Their goal just before HT should have made it 4-1.

Agreed. The worst one was Long's in the first couple of minutes. He breezed past a static defence and into the box, and had time and space to pick his spot with the keeper not rushing out to close down the angles, and he hit the bar. Not good enough Shane, sorry.

For some reason it seems that all our attacking players get nervous in the box, and need a 'perfect' chance to score. How often do we see anyone in a Saints shirt hit a first-time shot cleanly and on target? Very rarely. They always seem hesitant. Tadic, Long, Pelle and Mane are all guilty of this, and it is costing us a lot of points. OK it didn't today, but we still wasted far too many chances that we wouldn't even get when playing against a better team.

It is definitely something that needs addressing, and I'm glad that RK recognises that.
