I predicted we'd be below them going into the south coast derby when the fixtures came out, so many arrogant posters on here refused to acknowledge quite how poor we are. 

Our keeper is rubbish, midfield is brittle and our strikers don't take their chances.

Conversely there were a lot of posters who thought we’d walk this league, by virtue of being in the premier league last season. Albeit being the second worst team ever, on points at least, probably actually the worst aside from that. I do agree with you though, I saw us as mid table mudlers. I don’t know who any of the new players are, so don’t know if they will have the required impact, I guess we’ll find out. It seems a lot of other teams are far better prepared for this league than us.

More forward passes and long balls that's the difference with teams above. If your not aggressive enough and play to protect your weaknesses ie defence then you'll end up mid table all the time. We have also wasted time getting players in rather than selling ASAP. The annoying thing is we have handed the momentum to Pompey going into Sunday. With all the new faces I don't think they will have what's needed as new to the club. We will end up playing the game as any other game. 3-3, we definitely can score but can't keep goals out.
