Ricky Hatton RIP

Very sad news. Not sure of the circumstances, and hopefully it was natural causes rather than life getting too much. 

Regardless, he was a great character and a superb fighter.

Very sad indeed. I have experienced so much personal grief this year - definitely reinforcing that we are all here temporarily. RIP

Amen to that. 

Things like this, and my year to date, reinforce what's important. Happiness, health, friends, family, and peace of mind. Not much else really matters.

Sadly this does seem to be the case, judging by many of the statements from people I would assume to know a bit more. Poor feller, RIP.

Such a shame, loved watching his fights and he seemed like a decent genuine bloke too.  RIP Ricky

Apparently had survived previous suicide attempts which does rather suggest thats what it was. Very sad.

He was found hanged so headline of ‘thought to have’ sounds a bit vague

Very,very sad  and heart breaking to lose both Ricky Hatton and Graeme Thorpe to suicide, may they both rest in peace.
