Gutted at this one, Stone Roses and Primal Scream gone. Died at home this afternoon

shit i didnt realise his kids were so young, only 12. So sad.

I went to a handful of their reunion gigs during 12-17 and the crowd reaction to his bass for Adored will forever give me goosebumps.

The Stone Roses are my favourite band and their debut is an album that I've held with me through the good and the bad. 

Gutted at this news. RIP Mani.

They were, Primal scream are bloody great too

Phenomenal band, one of the very best debut albums. 

A rare example of a band where all four members played a huge/almost equal part in the sound. 

 

Mani's second life with Primal Scream fantastic too, remember seeing them live during the XTRMNTR tour in the 90s.

so so true....each of them so important.....even Renni's backing vocals a huge part of the sound..

 

was so very sad when I heard this.   Mani was such a top top fella as well
