Put a ticket in my basket this morning but backed out last minute. Just can't be arsed with the hassle. Still quite a lot left so plenty of others clearly feeling the same way.

So for all the talk of away tickets being impossible to get now, you could have started this season on zero and got a ticket for our biggest away game of the season if you went to every game you qualified for.

You all deserve medals, especially those that don’t live in Southampton and will have to travel in. Scandalous that the game has come to this. I very much doubt any other derby in the country has these issues - and for what? Of course the club will be very grateful to you all. I expect them to pick up the transport tab, lay on refreshments in the busses and maybe even give a voucher for the Saints store - just as a thank you because that’s the sort of club Saints are.

Stick him and Westwood directly opposite each other at either end of the pitch. They can spend 90 minutes gurning at each other, ringing a bellend, or ‘dancing’. 
 

ITV will love that as a Sunday lunchtime spectacular.

They've reconfigured the away concourse so they are allowed to sell alcohol now.

We sold beer to their fans so I suspect there won't be any issues.

Bigger issue is by spending money in their ground you're helping them out, we shouldn't be spending a single penny there and should be hoping this games costs them money.

I agree with you, but faced with two hours stood around at a cold Fratton Park having endured an early start and a bus journey along the m27 it feels inevitable that the offer of a beer will be too much temptation for even the most disciplined amongst us.

Did I read it correctly that Saints fans can't even take food and drink for the journey? 

Mentioned earlier in the thread I'm told when Skates buses arrived at St Mary's they were greeted with a fully open bar with pre poured pints ready to go , commercial manager would have been rubbing his hands at such a captive audience and £7+ per pint!

2 hours before seems rather optimistic to me. I expect we'll be there closer to 9.

And yeah no food and drink on coaches which seems absurd to ms. Probably so they can make money off us while waiting around at St Mary's.

The idea that they'll be confiscating say a bottle of water off people is ludicrous.
