SouthWalesSaints Posted Wednesday at 14:23 Posted Wednesday at 14:23 With tickets going on sale today, how many do you think we'll take there on a cold Wednesday in October?
Football Special Posted Wednesday at 15:23 Posted Wednesday at 15:23 Its a bit of a nightmare journey that midweek, I'm sure it will make general sale but hopefully we'll take the full 2,022 allocation pick up more good results against Bristol City and Wrexham and feelgood factor will help. There's also a long gap between Wrexham on 19th Sept and Norwich 14th Oct. Fair play to Norwich, one of the cheaper away tickets this season https://www.southamptonfc.com/en/norwich-city-vs-southampton-2627
franniesTache Posted Wednesday at 15:29 Posted Wednesday at 15:29 Good game for all those people complaining they never qualify for tickets to get a ticket to an away game, no way this doesn't got members at least, probably even general sale. I'm sure they'll all be really happy about that and be snapping up tickets right? 2

suewhistle Posted Wednesday at 22:15 Posted Wednesday at 22:15 Good call. I've been researching. Any hotel recommendations; the one at the ground is too expensive?! If I do book I'll be asking about pubs later..

Yeah it's a great city for a piss up, the ground is fairly central and you don't get any bother. One of the better aways in the country really 2

Ditto Murderers/Gardeners’ Compleat Angler is close, although is a Greene King. I still used it but some won’t like GK. 1

suewhistle Posted Thursday at 19:21 Posted Thursday at 19:21 Yes, no fan of GK, especially when others are available. But thanks all for the recommendations. 1

SouthWalesSaints Posted 15 hours ago Author Posted 15 hours ago We’ve got some crap away days coming up in Oct/Nov, luckily we’re fighting for something to add some spice to it. Should be plenty of tickets for those wanting to get numbers up. Hope we can continue to take a sizeable following to each. Norwich - midweek West Ham - AWFUL ground West Brom - Midweek Preston - Miles out Sheff Utd - Midweek
EssEffCee Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago Decent chance all of those make members. Pretty sure there's no trains running for West Ham.

Ah FFS you are correct, well no trains from Southampton Central anyway , why do these things always seem to conspire to make what should be a good trip hard work. Its annoying Northern sides get local games with massive allocations at Blackburn, Preston whereas our local trips tend to be smaller allocations like 1800 at QPR and Millwall also reduced now. We get just over 3000 at Charlton great away day for a few beers 🍻, thats on boxing day with no trains and West Ham also usually gives 3k I think also a faff with bus replacements
Pamplemousse Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago I think the trains are starting from Parkway, hopefully not too inconvenient for travelling fans as there will be buses from Central. A bit annoying, just hope SWR anticipate some of those morning trains might be quite busy and they put on extra buses (unlikely!!)
