Apart from a bit of argy bargy when whichever set of away fans gets escorted to the ground, what difference does it make? It’s always been a shit away day. I don’t really agree with the bubble in principle and if they insist on doing it it certainly should be run better, but going down there is never a good away day. 2019 was great, but because we won and won so comfortably.

Our cup run last season went hand-in-hand with our league run, definitely gave the side confidence and momentum. We got to a cup semi final whilst going months unbeaten in the league. Chances of long cup runs are slim, but let’s try and win every game. I’d expect Colchester an ideal chance to play our first choice 11 together before the Watford game.

Doubt the FAB have a decisive say in the matter.

Yeah, it’s a decent enough start, can’t complain with that. Lots of midweek northern away games which is a shame. Better spread of fixtures and away trips than last year I think.

VAR obviously didn’t do its job did it. It’s meant to correct refereeing mistakes. It doesn’t do that, just regularly kills the game off and creates chaos.

Agreed, there’s been no evidence of bullying. I think in the efl statement it actually stated that for the Ipswich incident a few junior analysts were asked to do it and said “no”, with no repercussions.

You would hope trained police officers would be able to recognise someone stabbed multiple times that is close to death and tell the difference from someone who’s just committed an assault and about to do a runner.

Then it makes it even harder to believe he wasn’t clearly struggling at that point doesn’t it.
