Football Special Posted September 9 Posted September 9 Its a bit of a nightmare journey that midweek, I'm sure it will make general sale but hopefully we'll take the full 2,022 allocation pick up more good results against Bristol City and Wrexham and feelgood factor will help. There's also a long gap between Wrexham on 19th Sept and Norwich 14th Oct. Ditto Murderers/Gardeners’ Compleat Angler is close, although is a Greene King. I still used it but some won’t like GK. 1

Should be plenty of tickets for those wanting to get numbers up. Hope we can continue to take a sizeable following to each. Ah FFS you are correct, well no trains from Southampton Central anyway , why do these things always seem to conspire to make what should be a good trip hard work. Its annoying Northern sides get local games with massive allocations at Blackburn, Preston whereas our local trips tend to be smaller allocations like 1800 at QPR and Millwall also reduced now. We get just over 3000 at Charlton great away day for a few beers 🍻, thats on boxing day with no trains and West Ham also usually gives 3k I think also a faff with bus replacements

A bit annoying, just hope SWR anticipate some of those morning trains might be quite busy and they put on extra buses (unlikely!!)

There are rarely enough buses and rarely enough drivers. And when they do run they usually don’t keep to the timetable. There was an occasion a few seasons ago when they announced at St Marys there would be no buses back to Parkway and I ended up walking it.

Norwich now on general sale. Looks like remainder of block G available and possibly H still available if sales progress.

I dont think we are capable of winning away yet due to our defending. But I will go with a draw on the basis that Tonda now admits he needs to have a 2nd style of competitive formation and substitutions that actually help (and not at 90 mins)

Brum - good point. Even game. Lincoln - good point. We were better for 70. Wrexham - deserved to win, another smash and grab. Not one team has deserved to beat us yet, it’ll turn performances are ok. Subs an issue. Jander fit dramatically improves bench. Dobbin, Fellows, Edozie, Mumamba someone needs to step up. Having matsuki on bench improves us late on, fellows is better from start but the Jap is the better player and deserves to start more. 1

Not many Championship sides would take as many.
