Son of Bob Posted 3 March, 2009 Share Posted 3 March, 2009 ... to get out of the bottom 3? Still, on the positive side, if we had lost the last 3 we'd now be 11 points adrift from safety. How scary would that have been!
paulwantsapint Posted 3 March, 2009 Share Posted 3 March, 2009 Saints dont do easy but if we keep winning the others will drop
cellone Posted 3 March, 2009 Share Posted 3 March, 2009 Win our game in hand. Simples.
Micky Posted 3 March, 2009 Share Posted 3 March, 2009 Continue to win games - simple to say - harder to do. But that is the crux of the matter - the bottom teams will all fancy their chances of getting out while they are in touch with the team around them. With the exeption of probably Charlton, it's a lottery down there at the moment. Therefore - the only solution is to win games...!

supergoose Posted 3 March, 2009 Share Posted 3 March, 2009 If we keep scoring more goals than we concede we will stay up - fact.

Alain Perrin Posted 3 March, 2009 Share Posted 3 March, 2009 If we keep scoring more goals than we concede we will stay up - fact. Not a FACT. We could win the next game 42-0 and lose the rest 1-0 and be relegated. FACT is overused on this forum IMHO.
Made in Southampton Posted 3 March, 2009 Share Posted 3 March, 2009 Not a FACT. We could win the next game 42-0 and lose the rest 1-0 and be relegated. FACT is overused on this forum IMHO. Think he means in each game - Fact HTH

Saint Martini Posted 3 March, 2009 Share Posted 3 March, 2009 Not a FACT. We could win the next game 42-0 and lose the rest 1-0 and be relegated. FACT is overused on this forum IMHO. Now that is a FACT Anyway, its a shame that other teams are also getting points but as the table looks now there's about 8 teams (next to Charlton and Norwich) that could be in trouble come the end of the season. We only need one other of those eight to do a few more points worse then us. If we just keep going to the 50 point mark ASAP we should be fine.
