Andy_Porter Posted 13 March, 2009 Share Posted 13 March, 2009 He's ****e anyway. If they play Routledge and Taarabt together on the flanks we should win the midfield quite easily.

Are you serious, I think he's top class, so good with the ball at his feet, he came on at Old Trafford once and was throwing out nutmegs like there's no tomorrow, now I'm not saying that makes him a super player, but there's no way he's ****e As for Routledge too, if he wasn't at Villa I think he would have made it in the prem
Burnsie Posted 13 March, 2009 Share Posted 13 March, 2009 He's looked out of his depth in the Premier League, but his ball skills are first rate and he could do some real damage at Championship level. I was dismayed to see Chris Gunter sign for Forest too.

Deano6 Posted 13 March, 2009 Share Posted 13 March, 2009 I was just over on QPRweb and someone called QPR News Update posted that Lee Holmes is making a good recovery, but won't be ready for Saturday. Does anyone know if true?

His first touch and close control is brilliant but he doesn't know what to do with it. Routledge has tried and failed at Spurs, Pompey, Fulham and Villa. He's really over rated as well, good enough player but nothing to be worried about just like Taarabt.
Saint Stimp Posted 14 March, 2009 Share Posted 14 March, 2009 Yes, it clearly is. Hence the word 'saints' in the opening sentence.. Routledge has tried and failed at Spurs, Pompey, Fulham and Villa. He's really over rated as well, good enough player but nothing to be worried about just like Taarabt. I've noticed this too, however at this level I think he'll cause problems. Hopefully he'll need a game or two to adjust though.

We've tried every other waif and stray. In fact staff from Battersea Dogs Home were seen at The training ground observing our modern day methods on this subject. AndyNorthernSaints Posted 14 March, 2009 Share Posted 14 March, 2009 It's not fair! every other championship is using the loan system to help them while Saints use it to help other teams :-(
