3 old grumpy Saints fans sat on a bench remembering times gone by when watching Saints was fun and we had players of the ilk of Keegan, Ossie, Bally, Shilton and Channon etc, and we used to win home games, and nobody knew who the chairman was and teh innernet hadn't been invented......... as each happy/momentus memory out does the last, covering finishing 2nd place in Div 1, thrashing Man U 6-3, Liverpool 4-1, Arsenal 3-2, playing regulary in Europe, reaching various Cup Semi finals, the League Cup Final... and of course the I was there when we won the FA Cup...........

Just by coincidence, ITV4's The Big Match Revisited will be showing the 79 League Cup Final at noon on Thursday (and repeated that afternoon and on Sunday) as its 30 years ago tomorrow.
