Saints Fans in Amesbury / Bulford and Durrington

Amesbury Saint

I remember coming back from working in London a couple of years back along the A303 and near the roundabout being directed on detour into Amesbury... re roadworks...I must have spent the next two hours and three or four tours of Amesbury trying to find my way South West....

After this close and intimate encounter with Boscombe Down and Amesbury...I would be

considered a local/yokel wurzel boy....

Are there many of us?

Anyone interested in trying to form a supporters group?

Please pm me.

Amesbury rocks!

Count me in, although the last time I visited Stonehenge, Dave Brock and the boys were playing Hurry on Sundown as the sun came up. As we seem a rare breed in the area shall we meet at Cholderton?

Blimey I might have almost been a neighbour of Draganov.

I allegedly twice flew solo over Stonehenge - once in an airplane........

ah the piles of rubbish after 19C and the gang moved on every mid June....

Was in Bulford for a while, the ex wife now lives in Amesbury so no, won't be coming back for the meetings......

How often do you come back for matches?

I come back to UK about once a month, and will go to a match if there's one near home that weekend. However, all my friends keep getting married at the moment on Saturday's, so I have to go to weddings when I am back! Very selfish of them! I was DurringtonSaint on the old Saintsforever forum actually.

And Mel, why did you kill Durrington Saint? You all grown up now you are living in the land of watches and chocolate?

Haha, I actually forgot I used to be Durringtonsaint until you reminded me! Match was great today. I really should come back more. I'll go to a few matches as season so I'd like to be in your supporters group please.

Amesbury Saints were out in force today in block 35 - all 4 of us plus a friend from Bath.

Block 35 rocks!

Your welcome to join the group.

Will get something organised for the start of next season.

Good grief that's impossible - why Amesbury's even been on Top Gear!

Could be argued though that you are one of the lucky ones......

Steady on!!

I reckon you are just jealous that you have to reside in miserable dubai

instead of the great town that is Amesbury:D

I use to frequent the Greyhound and Kings Head public houses in Amesbury when I was a squaddie based in Tidworth in 1975, do I qualify? That was back in then days when you could get transport there and back, absolutely bladdered and a chinese take away and still have change from a fiver, happy dayz.

Amesbury rocks!

I lived at 75 Countess Road for nine years and enjoyed being in Amesbury. Now in Locks Heath, but I still visit the Malet Arms at Newton Tony and always stop in Amesbury for a while on the way back.

If you called the group Bulford Amesbury & Durrington you could be BAD Saints. You just need three more places one beginning with A and two beginning with S and you could be

BAD ASS Saints.

On that basis I think forming a Watford, Amersham, North Herts, Kings Langley, Enfield and Rickmanworth supporters group might not be such a good idea after all ;)
