Benj540 Posted 11 April, 2009 Share Posted 11 April, 2009 They should be down at the training ground trying to get the basics right I think they should all be resting, a training session afternoon. Tomorrow, morning light training session. Then Monday go out all fresh and ready to play and romp palace 4-0.
chocco boxo Posted 11 April, 2009 Share Posted 11 April, 2009 checking their property portfolio's, flicking through car brochures, flicking through holiday brochures? Probably getting their agents to get a deal elsewhere (thank ****)?

Based on what i saw yesterday at wolves not many will need to rest , the effort expended off the ball to help team mates was virtually nil, they only moved when ball was near them and no one moved much in the first 20 minutes. They should all be made to watch a video of the first 20 minutes and sit and stare at palace away kit so they remember who to mark on monday

rallyboy Posted 11 April, 2009 Share Posted 11 April, 2009 hopefully a few of them will be gaffer-taped to chairs in deserted dockside warehouses with people pouring petrol over their hooded faces, just as a reminder of their debt to the fans of this club, and how we hope they get three points on Monday. Though I believe that style of motivational management is frowned upon these days, it's gone all boiled chicken and pasta with Prozone for afters. VectisSaint Posted 11 April, 2009 Share Posted 11 April, 2009 They should be down at the training ground trying to get the basics right You can't polish a turd. Trying to get basics right at this stage in the season is a ridiculous notion. Our players and our coaches are simply not good enough. I still believe the players could have survived in this division with a proper coaching set up, but it is too late, and has been since well before Christmas. Wotte was very lucky when we won 3 on the bounce, but it is clear now that really he is no better than Nice but Dim JP. No better, just different.
