Bailey Posted 30 April, 2009 Share Posted 30 April, 2009 Should make for a good atmosphere. Still angry at Forest for retaining so many tickets. Whatever happens on the pitch, us Saints fans will no doubt make some noise and create a party atmosphere.
SaintRobbie Posted 30 April, 2009 Share Posted 30 April, 2009 May be worth expressing afew opinions on Mr Lowe during this game. I suggest a hearty collection of banners to relay the fans intent and opinion of Mr Lowe's actions to date.

Are you the type that sits in the pub crying and moaning about how your ex treated you, or the type that tarts yourself up and sets off to pull a new bird? I think you're right... but assuming those on here are panicking that Lowe may be attending the game and have a hand in the takeover deal (I doubt it by the way!) it may make us all feel a little better that we're letting Mr Fry know how much we love the old chairman. Saints foreva Posted 30 April, 2009 Share Posted 30 April, 2009 If I remember at St Marys.. Forests vocal support was terrible. Shouldn't be hard to show them what support is..

Nothing insider, just a gut feeling. If you are that concerned, write to Fry and let him know the Business risk of allowing Lowe to be linked to the club. Chanting his name or holding up banners at NF will just look silly and, if you excuse me, a bit like something the Skates would do.

No offence, but people were saying that exact same thing 2 years ago. I can understand why some fans might be concerned.

IIRC, the Saints fans that did go got soaked and Killer scored a header from a corner after about 10mins. The goal gave us a 1-0 win, moved us up from 11th to 8th in the League and the extra £1.5m in prize money pretty much paid for his transfer fee on it's own. Think it was the last ever game at Maine Road and Saints completed the double over Man City. Ah memories...

Yes mate i danced with joy and was soooo proud to be supporting a fantastic club that no one outside Southampton rated. To finish 8th was brilliant. To think what was just round the corner would have been totally unthinkable. Still loyal and proud though and will be at Forest on Sunday.Uts.
