Redondo Saint Posted 14 May, 2009 Share Posted 14 May, 2009 I really hope we don't suffer the same problems they did in 98. After entering administration it took over a year for them to be sold. They fell into administration because a local businessman bought them and and ran out of money - be warned!

Andy_Porter Posted 14 May, 2009 Share Posted 14 May, 2009 How could they last a whole year? I didn't think we would be able to even start next season unless we find a buyer.
Made in Southampton Posted 14 May, 2009 Share Posted 14 May, 2009 and yet they are in a better position than us at present.

They fell into administration because a local businessman bought them and and ran out of money - be warned! HI Chris... Thats the big problem of course. The prospect of 10,000 -15,000 gates won't bring in much income, and it will be two years minimum before we can get out of L1 - especially if we start with -10 points. It needs someone with deep pockets - even if we do have young players on low salaries for a year or two before eventual promotion. Leeds haven't had it so easy in that position. best regards David
ART Posted 14 May, 2009 Share Posted 14 May, 2009 Worse of all is if we'd have to ground share with Skates or Cherries like Palace had to do that year with arch rivals. Knowing our fate that is just what's going to happen. 44 days is nothing where Administration is concerned. How long did Leicester wait to get a deal done?
