Lets B Avenue Posted 8 June, 2009 Share Posted 8 June, 2009 excuse me for not getting overexcited. the days of winning the combination cup in front of a very big crowd at the dell are a distant memory I took home the match ball after it was booted into the Archers. It was used for all the "Internationals" and "Cup Finals" over the BTC for the next few years.

My Mum was in the director's box for the match at the invitation of George Reader - it was against West Ham I recall.

Channon was playing as he had been dropped from 1st team earlier in the month, for Bobby Stokes. Sydenham also. Lost 1-0 away won the return 3-0.
