I have just got a PS3 (already have a Wii) and I'm looking for some games for my 6 and 10 year old boys and also me.

I'm looking at Adventure rather than shoot-em-up or sports and I would appreciate some ideas of jaw-droppingly good games that can hold their imagination.

It's got to be Little Big Planet, surely?

The Lego games are great for the kids .... Wipeout HD / Call of Duty for the grown ups

Ratchet and Clank is ok for kids i think and has a bit of adult humor too.

My 11 year old sister enjoys watching me play GTA 4 and Gears of War.

It's great as I only have to look after her occasionally so my mum has to deal with all the swearing, shooting people, stealing cars and cutting people in half with a chainsaw.

Uncharted now less than 20. A shooter yes, but a great game. Ratchet and Clank definately. Lego Indiana Jones and Batman. Guitar Hero. Little Big Planet. The Simpsons: The Game.

My 4 yr old plays 1942 and kulaworld from the PSN; awful games but each to their own...

For kids Ratchet and Clank is a definite. I agree that you should get Uncharted if you are after an adventure game, yes there's a lot of shooting, but it's hardly an FPS and it is Tomb Raiderish

I've not played or even seen any LBP, but the hype alone means I and probably everyone who owns a PS3 should check it out.

Personally I'm loving Fallout 3 at the minute. Definitely not one for the kids(!), but a very entertaining and engrossing game
